    Hello.

Longtime lurker, first time poster. My first Bond experience was checking TND out of the library as a kid and I've been a fan ever since. I grew up as a Brosnan Bond fan, but I have an appreciation for all of the actors in their respective eras. It's remarkable how the series takes on a life of its own for a newer generation of viewers like myself when watching the classics. I also remember my skepticism when Daniel Craig was first cast for the role, but he dissolved that completely when I saw Casino Royale. Pound for pound, I feel his performances in conveying the emotion of the character are the greatest the series has ever produced.

So great to see so many new members - welcome, all of you!
And look at all the Canadians joining in; what's up with that? :)
And another female, Bond girl, member - yay! I will never recover from Bond, actually. Bond is an addiction I thrive on, hopefully 4Ever. ;)

Hi there, this is the partner account of Julia & Marc - two devoted Bond travelers. We try to hunt down all film locations of the 007 series. Our success - including travel tipps and recommendation - is written down at HuntingBond.com. We hope, to find some help here with our location hunting. And to settle our dispute whether Connery or Craig is the better Bond... ;)

Welcome indeed! There are quite a few members here who've travelled around and visited Bond locale's, so you should be fine with that here. But shouldn't your location be spelled cai...cai...cairo? ;-)
  • Hello. Been a lurker of these forums for a while. With SPECTRE in production I thought I'd take the leap to becoming an actual member. Been a fan of the movies for as long as I can remember. Love the Fleming books and continuation novels. Enjoy the early films mostly. No real favourites. But who doesn't love From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball and Diamonds Are Forever.

Welcome Klaus. Afraid quite a few don't like Diamonds Are Forever, but I encourage you to keep showing the love despite the negativity. :-)

    Hi Everyone,

I just thought I would re-introduce myself as I haven't posted for a while but whenever the bond publicity starts rolling for a new film I always come back.

So just wanted to say hello again to the members old and new. Hope you don't mind.

    Hi!

My name is Gustavo and I'm from Brazil.

I'm 22, so the first Bond movie that I've watched was GoldenEye and then I became a huge fan and collector of all things related about 007. The things that I most appreciate in my collection is the suitcase with all Bond movies until DAD, the 130 miniature cars and the book collection, witch I'm reading for the 2nd time.

    My favorite movie is Thunderball.

There are any other Brazilians here? Let me know.

    Best regards,
    Gustavo

Hello everyone. I've been a fan of work of art that is the Bond series since I first watched CR when I was 10. I'm a student in high school (and an American). I've browsed the community for quite a while and figured I might as well get an account now! I enjoy writing and watching the Bond movies, and have done some write-ups similar to @thelivingroyale. Maybe I'll even post some of them...who knows?

I'm Clara, I'm from Rio and I write James Bond fanfiction on ff.net. Usually my stories lead more towards drama and romance with moments of humor and action to balance things out.

I'm a lover of the Bond/Vesper pairing. Right now I'm really inspired by Monica Bellucci being cast as a Bond Woman, as she put it, so I'm working on a story centering on a romance between the characters of James Bond and Lucia Sciarra (SPECTRE).

Since I have no idea what SPECTRE will be like and the nuances of the Lucia character, just about everything besides main character names and references to previous 007 movies come from my imagination.

My username on ff.net is Clara-Lis if anyone is interested in reading my stories. :)

  • Hello, I'm new here. I became a James Bond fan back in 2002. From Russia Love was the first James Bond film that I seen and it is still my favorite Bond film. Sean Connery is my favorite James Bond actor.
