I think this is my favourite pose/composition of all the "SPECTRE" posters so far. It's the first time Bond really has a slight....smirk...smile on his face :-). I love the darkgren/-blue colors combined with Bond's white dinner jacket and Dr. Swann's shiny gown. The "SPECTRE" fonts look best in gold I think.

By the way, did I already say that I'm very very content with the actual font type of the title logo? So different from what we've seen from the previous three Bond films, which were all Century Gothic I think ("DAF" actually too).

Spectre's actually Gothic as well, just highly stylized ;) although I think we may have had this discussion before.

Nope, Gotham instead of Century Gothic.

Ah, sorry about that, my mistake.

    "SPECTRE" (thanks @antovolk):

So my question to all of you: What strikes you most when looking at all British Quad posters of the four Craig films?

Also two British Quad posters from the two Timothy Dalton films:

    "Licence To Kill":

    "The Living Daylights":

    DC can't stand up straight?

He looks p!ssed off in every poster?

    He looks older every time?

Someone's superglued his gun and he can't let it go?

DC looks a lot better with some hair?

How am I doing, am I getting close?

OLGA KURYLENKO is so freaking hard...hot!
    ...that strokes me most, strikes!...
    damn...

I think the last time Bond looked 'stiff' enough on a poster, was on the "Tomorrow Never Dies" poster.

True. As pissed as those from the Timothy Dalton films. STILL, I think Craig looks at his most suave, slightly smirky, on the "SPECTRE" UK Quad poster.

The funny thing is..I think on his first two films/posters, Craig looks truly rotten.....like he has been tortured so many times...like he's on drugs....or like he's an alcoholic.

Bond's PPK was glued on him ever since the first poster for "Dr. No" appeared ;-).

...........especially combined with his piercing blue eyes.

Actually. one comment that is regularly repeated when discussing Bond posters is the desire to go back to the more illustrative artwork style yet reminding myself viewing these DC posters shows CR has that more abstract painted stylistic feel with a nicely executed montage which has slowly ebbed away along the way. QOS looks like it's a painting too but I'm sorry, that SF artwork is a mess which at least SP improves upon. A bit.

    I agree. RE: the posters:

-CR has a retro classic look, like the film
-QoS seems very modern and fresh, like the film
-SF seems dull and boring but perhaps they wanted to just evoke 50 yrs and Brittania (hence the flag)
-SP is a little better than SF. It also, like CR, seems retro classic so we may be getting something similar.....although DC seems a little more relaxed in SP vs. CR

Till this day I'm flabbergasted at how the SF poster campaign lacked creativity. The one with Bond on his back firing the pistol is decent I suppose, but overall that was a very uninspiring campaign.

The QOS and SP ones fare the best. I really dislike SF and CR beyond the initial teasers.

I like the CR theatrical one-sheet. Craig has a really neat pose and I love the look of Vesper in the background.

Interesting point from the new GQ -Greg Williams wasn't involved with the poster campaign and other promo photos this time, it was all Rankin. Hence no "Bond on Set" book.

Not very imaginative are they - déjà vu design. Why not try a different DotD background image for each character? The banner with all the colours of the crowd even. DC could contrast in tone and colour more to stand out.

Yeah, but I didn't know that Rankin actually did the posters instead of Williams.

There are also M, Moneypenny and Oberhauser ones but the person didn't take photos of them

Any idea if the character posters are going to be released online?

I like the throwback LALD outfit poster best in terms of the Spectre marketing so far.

Take note of the hidden side of Waltz's face, and the sunglasses. Hmm...
