  • Sorry; I had a pause as posting on here wasn’t much fun for a little while. It’s more about what Bond does, and they’re not all planes.

  • That's wonderful; I'm not familiar with that one. I saw them at the Albert Hall with full orchestra a few years back- it was excellent. It's not a very original idea but I've always thought Lovely Head sounds very Bondy too.
  • Just because this is kind of the closest we have to a general discussion thread; I'm sure a lot of us are familiar with this channel and this is a bit of fun:
  • I would be amazed if he were up for directing another one. He’s been making these two latest ones for about five years straight now.
  • I think that’s what Fiennes brought to it too. We’re pretty much told that he was a bit of a hero in the field.
  • Olivia Colman still wants to be M “Yeah, definitely. I’m the nerd that loves all of these things,” Olivia responded. “When Judi (Dench) wasn’t (coming back as M), I thought, ‘Come on, come on, come on.’ F**king Ralph (Fiennes) got in there. But …

  • It's lovely.

  • Yes that’s true, they’re adaptations to some extent already. The ideas for settings and set pieces are always very original though, and I’d say something like the last act of SF would stand out as being significantly unlike anything else if it were …
  • Yes Forever and A Day has some of the more original ideas and feels a bit more of a story for Bond than most. I do think most of the films have more interesting plots than most books though: if, say, TWINE had been a novel I think we'd be crying out…

  • Oh yes I forgot about GoldenEye; I was thinking of 007 Legends where someone else did a (really good) impersonation of his voice.

  • Yes, you may be right there. A bit like how the official DVD docos said that although Brosnan was the first signed up for TLD, Dalton was the one they really wanted even before him.
  • Ms Broccoli is on record as saying that they had their minds set on Craig and the studio made them look at other actors, to be fair.
