  • Yes there’s a bit towards the beginning where he’s supposed to be romancing a lady on a balcony and gets a Bond-style cheesy quip to deliver, and he kills it stone dead.
  • I made it through it but yeah, not great. Similar thoughts to you really i.e. what were they aiming for? I watched The Beekeeper, Statham's latest. It's utter trash, but it's enjoyable and knows what it wants to be, and is a lot better than this. …
  • Probably not really the best thread, but regardless, Count Binface's party political broadcast for his candidacy as Mayor of London today had a familiar ring to it :D
  • With Dr Who and Eurovision on BBC 1 they’re giving up a bit there: just bung an old Bond on! :)

  • I think the bit where it becomes Benji in Venice is a pretty decent demonstration of its scary powers.
  • I love that and other similar photos, because they seem to be proof that Roger happily pilfered his costume from the San Monique bits. And why not!
  • The last one would be a pretty ballsy name for a big film! :)

  • I can't think- when's he in shorts in it? I have nothing against Bond in shorts, incidentally! He pulled it off pretty well in NTTD!

  • The Solange stuff isn't sexy? I'm a bit lost- I think it's the most genuinely sexy stuff in the series; with perhaps the mirror stuff with the widow in Spectre close in second.

  • I quite like 'Blood On Your hands'.

  • It's at least easier to figure out what's happening than in the boat chase in QoS! :)

  • Yes, I'd say Skyfall is stronger too. Both have big plotholes which make the whole thing fall apart if you think about it too much, but equally both are extremely entertaining films and rank right at the top of surveys of best Bond films amongst fan…
