  • @RC7. I respect you and the vast majority of your opinions, but I think it’s you, in this instance, that’s being a tad melodramatic over this “rape” comment of Cavill’s. In all honesty I could care less, too, about his comment or Connery’s giving a …
  • I’ve just seen it and I enjoyed it immensely. Great movie. @fanbond123. Who gives a flying monkeys what some morons have posted on IMDb? And why do any of us have to join you in your party pooper sentiments of looking for green screen stunts? You…
  • The problems with TMWTGG and SP were under a set of entirely different circumstances @MaxCasino. TMWTGG was a rushed-into-production affair compared to SP. Had TMWTGG been afforded the same breathing space and development time as SP, it would not ha…
  • You know what? It seems to me that there are those that dislike Cavill so much that they will use anything in their ammunition or power to discredit him. Ooh, he said something that offended a couple of people on the poxy social media. Big friggin d…
  • Yes, I agree @Fire_and_Ice_Returns. He’s never in the press for the wrong reasons. And as I also stated in a post several pages back, it would be an entirely different proposition seeing Cavill playing a Brit, which even he pointed out in his own re…
  • Cruise and Cavill are, which was the point of Cavill’s comment, Giminlady, but as some of us have already taken pains to point out: Cavill wasn’t being discourteous, he was simply giving Eon a reason to hire him after Craig stands down.

  • Great. Thanks for the feedback @TR007. Glad you enjoyed the movie.
  • What’s not true, @Germanlady, that Craig doesn’t do all his own stunts or that Craig did his own motorcycle chase across the rooftops and didn’t have his face CGI imposed on the stunt rider? Below is an image of the stuntman with a prosthetic head f…

  • @HarmonyRockets could well be right. Cavill might be the new face of MI. It could be misdirection that we think his character is the villain. Until we see the movie, we don’t actually know for sure. Though judging from his keen interest in still pla…

  • Ant Man & The Wasp. Just got round to seeing this and I enjoyed it immensely. I thought the humour worked much better in this sequel than the first. It’s a fun, silly ride but who cares... I simply love Ant Man.
  • Has anyone read “The Vampyre" by John William Polidori that influenced Stoker’s Dracula?

  • Yes, I recall the television reality “Clampers” and I got the joke on first showing here in London. You certainly didn’t make that up @BT3366.
  • I’ve just rewatched Count Yorga. It’s still enjoyable. I must track down its superb sequel now. Loved Quarry as the Count.
  • Excellent points @BT3366. Pretty much everything there in a nutshell. I trust we’re going to skip DAD as it’s totally unsalvageable?
  • One name missing is Count Yorga, Vampire which is a 1970 American low-budget vampire horror film that also spawned a sequel. it might have dated badly but I thought Robert Quarry was an excellent Prince of Darkness.
  • Indeed, @Murdock. The gentlemen’s nod of approval. This is how it will be done in stardate 41153.7. The high five would’ve been consigned to history by then.
