  • It's so rare to have someone like him nowadays, who is keen on maintaining the cinematic traditions while delivering fresh and unique experiences. I believe if Nolan were to do a Bond film, he would change things dramatically. He would tell a goo…
  • I like when Bond hires people "of the moment". Malek could be a complete nobody in 5 years, but for right now he's the hot ticket. This newest movie needs to resonate and feel contemporary, and actor choices feed into that sense.

  • Y'know, the more I check out this guy, I can see a Bond villain in the making. He has the look of a mastermind. TBH, it would not be difficult to do better than the last couple, as Bardem and Waltz were both damp squibs.
  • Based on that clip, you can definitely tell that Malek has been approached for playing a Bond villain. Whether he has accepted the role, only time will tell. But, probably yes.

  • I have a close connection to Nolan because he rose to power, as I was growing up. The guy is probably the last true visionary we have who works on a big scale. Lets hope that Bond is blessed with him in the directors chair in future.

  • Yes, if the movie is shorter, then the villain could only have 15 - 20 minutes of screen time like Donald Pleansce or Mathieu Amariac or Dr No. If they really want him, they can change things around do he can be there. He has expressed an interes…

  • Maybe he could be Blofeld's number 2 in command? It's a bit strange that we are coming up on one year until Bond 25 is released, and we still know next to nothing. Makes you wonder what is really going on behind the scenes.
  • Lots of millennials seem to hate the Bond formula and want more original stories, but I think the formula that was used from 1964 - 2002 was infact highly durable. It occured to me today that no two movies from that period are alike. Although they h…

  • Yes, Fukunaga will not have written the script from scratch, he will be given what was worked on by Puris Wade and Haggis. We already know that Madders is back, so its likely that Bond 25 is a continuation.
  • I think Aquaman was a moment. I can't remember the last time a movie that goofy was so successful. I mean, GOOFY. The idea of a flagship franchise steering into that direction a few years ago would have been the kiss of death. The new Star Wars has …

  • It's interesting to note that Brosnan was known for a hugely popular series which ran for 5 seasons until he became Bond. And now Aidan Turner's hugely popular show Poldark will apparently end after its fifth season airs in 2019. If they are look…
