  • I have seen a few DC films. He tends to fare better when avoiding Hollywood or doing big budget films. Good - Layer Cake - Road to Perdition - Knives Out - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo - Logan Lucky - The Adventures of Tin Tin - Munich …

  • If you have seen the Omega advertising, its not much of a surprise, but confirmation Bond had a gadget watch: https://007store.com/products/james-bond-q-branch-top-trumps (Spoiler)
  • I found this on youtube whilst browsing for Zimmer NTTD cues. Its fan made but really bloody good, especially in the second half.

  • I wouldnt expect anything even referencing the Boyle version ever again from EoN. That will be left to outside authors. Same with directors cuts. Never done previously, and I dont think that will change anytime ever.
  • QBranch wrote: » Pattern says NTTD will have a casino scene. I think the closest we will get to a casino scene is the Cuban night time scene, with bars and the big meeting. Very glamorous like a casino, but no actual casino.
  • mtm wrote: » I did titter at that sketch I must admit. He does send himself up well. And they even managed a bit of continuity to tie into the upcoming film! :) Yes I did pick up on that too, “I am dating a doctor actually...” Does this …
  • Never mind #releasetheForstercut, how about #releasetheFukunagaCut aka the film 🤣
  • @Since62 I dont think it would add much in the way of content, just mean that the editing is perhaps a bit more “breathed” and not so frantically cut together.

  • I suppose, reading through the nominations, Billie Eilish will be eligible next year for NTTD. Havent seen most of them, only real comment is that it is disappointing Soul is not a Best Picture nominee.
  • Rest in Peace Yaphet. Always a memorable performance and career.
  • @battleshipgreygt I hope so. I really wish we had a CR Madagascar chase style action scene in the film. I dont think we do though.
  • As much as I love Aston Martin, I wouldnt be adverse to the next Bond actor and his films using a different car manufacturer. Maybe the return of Lotus? Or a McLaren. Keep it high end and British.
  • The return of the DB5 should’ve been relegated to a background gag rather than actually restoring it and bringing it back. Kinda undermines its symbolic destruction in SF, but hey ho. The opening Matera chase in NTTD does look good though. Also Q…

  • In Casino Royale, just how long does Bond spend recovering from torture, in the swish rehabilitation retreat? And subsequently he and Vesper fall in love? Presumably we are looking at period of several months, but the film never makes it clear. C…
  • @mtm Unless the movie explicitly says so, or a character makes reference to it, I usually assume the time between the PTS and the main movie is a day or two. Week at most. Or in the case of QoS, 5 mins. 😁 But then you are getting into a massive c…
