  • AVTAK!! I really Like this film. And NTTD is Just far too long and disappointing in many regards. AVTAK is flawed but has a lot of great incrediances. But most of all, it has a much better pacing whereas NTTD drags.
  • I still hope we will end up with a three year gap between Bond films. In the 60s 1 year was the normal waiting time for a new Bond film. From the 70s onwards it was 2 years until the late 90s (with the exception we all know too well after LTK). Thre…

  • I'm a little worried that the time between the next films will be as long as it was last time under Craig. It could mean that every new film has to be longer, more emotional and more bombastic than its predecessor in order to justify the long wait. …
  • AVTAK but they are all great

  • In any case, I think Bond 26 has to be a great film to maintain the success of the franchise. I think each of the six actors' first films were pretty good and ambitious. Goldeneye and Casino Royale in particular were important to ensure the continue…
  • I'm concerned that the producers can't move away from the idea that Bond has a very long-term emotional relationship with a particular woman. Perhaps the womanizer that Bond was in the past is no longer considered appropriate. So what will that be l…

  • Well, Mr. White also ends up being forced into the boot of Bond's car, an experience he shares with Dominic Greene. I feel that in the earlier films the producers or writers managed to make the villains seem stronger and treated them with more respe…
  • I think that a villain is very often viewed in the light of the film in question. Le Chiffre is rated positively mainly because people like Casino Royale and the overall plot. Sure, Mikkelson does a great job too, but you could also say that the mai…
  • Something that has probably been mentioned already is SUSPENSE. Please make the Bond films more suspensefull and less predictable. CR was probably the last film with surprising character developments.
  • I am sorry for not understanding the game. What is the right solution? Bond piloting an aircraft? But isn't he piloting an aircraft in many other films, too? GE, SP, TLD; LTK, OP, TMWTGG....

  • One could also think about Bond Performances
  • All three films have parachute scenes in the middle of the film.

  • Great work as usual; GoldenGun. I did not participate but must admit that my ranking is a bit similar so it does not matter at all. 25. CR 67 24. DAF 23. LALD 22. DAD 21. NTTD 20. TND 19. QoS 18. SP 17. OP 16. YOLT 15. TB 14. OHMSS 13…

  • For me it is AVTAK. I can see its flaws but this film also has a lot of good elememts and overall lots of suspense. Many people seem to criticise tfhe film because of Tanja Robert's limited acting skills and Moore's age. For me this does not matt…

  • Spectre has a run time of 150 minutes. Still the film feels very empty. Most films have at least two or three great scenes that I like to rewatch, even when I am not a fan of the whole film. Spectre has hardly one great moment. Maybe the fight betwe…

  • I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but it wasn't until my recent Bondathon that I noticed a rare parallel between Moonraker and For Your Eyes Only. I'm not sure if this is super obvious, but the submarine scene in FYEO is very similar t…
