  • My late father always preferred loose leaf tea to tea bags. It was the tea he'd have grown up on. It was much more common back when I was growing up too. Now it's much harder to find and it takes up much less shelf space. My father always said "Why …

  • That's a relief to hear that it wasn't just me then. I only buy ordinary grocery shop teas, nothing too fancy. So I wasn't sure if I was just overreacting. It just didn't look right to me so I didn't make any more of it. Of course it could be a bad …
  • I do not recommend Yorkshire Tea Gold. I took the teabag out of the mug and there was a black liquid coming out of it. I've never seen tea with so black a colour before. Had another cup tonight and it looks like Fleming's disdainful "cup of mud". It…

  • Sad to hear of the death of George Wendt. Against the grain, I actually liked him in his Columbo guest star role.
  • It would be a unique decision if they really push the boat out and actually have James Bond as the lead character in one of their books. It's sad that we've come to this.

  • We're all sad cases here regarding this sort of stuff, so you'll fit right in! :)

  • They were clearly method actors.
  • So the UK were in 19th position with nul points from the public vote. Well, there's a surprise. The song wasn't very good to be honest so it's not too much of a shock. I suppose it could have always been worse. They could've come last.

  • That's sad news. I always liked Joe Don Baker. I feel that Brad Whitaker is an underrated villain who deserved more screen time and development. Jack Wade was fun too, in his own way. He always seemed like a nice, jolly sort of man in interviews.
  • Who needs the UN when you have Eurovision? A great example of "soft power".
