  • I'll try to start with that one then, @MajorDSmythe. It's funny, the most knowledge I have from the Horror universe has been gleaned from these forums; I've heard you lot discuss them for years and years now, it's high time I finally checked them ou…

  • Great post, @DarthDimi, appreciate it! I get like that with certain series; they mostly won't be for me so I try to focus on the aspects I do admire and go from there. I found a collection listed on Letterboxd the other night of 10 or 11 films so pe…
  • Of course, @DarthDimi! Do share your thoughts here if you ever decide to check it out. Speaking of Hammer, is there a good starting point with those films? I'm a complete rookie when it comes to them but wanted to check out the Hammer Dracula col…
  • I had no expectations for it and was still blown away by how terrible it looks, like a really embarrassing student film that should've never seen the light of day.
  • Samara Weaving and Tony Revolori have joined the cast of Scream 6: https://deadline.com/2022/07/samara-weaving-tony-revolori-join-scream-6-1235064108/ And on a random yet on topic note, you guys should check out Caveat if you ever get the chan…
  • If it's not Bond or MGW, it's some miscellaneous extra that's in both shots, whatever they are. This one seems a bit too convoluted without rewatching and scanning in detail (unless we're way off mark somehow and it's a character we aren't realizing…
  • The film doesn't look good but Colin Salmon will be 60 this year. He looks fantastic, barely aged from his Bond days.

  • These trailers just aren't grabbing me how I'd like. I want it to be great, I want it to crush expectations, and I'll still check it out once it releases (much like House of the Dragon), but I haven't seen anything yet that's really blown me away.

  • It clearly shows in everything they've worked on since their first collaboration. It's a great working relationship and I'll be eager to see if it continues once Dead Reckoning Part 2 is done and released.

  • A quick search yields no results, and maybe I heard an answer once but have forgotten since, but I'm eager to know how McQuarrie kept getting rehired as director when they were strictly involved in hiring a new one for each installment.

  • @slide_99, it does have this flashy, oddly colored TV movie quality at times. It's my least favorite looking installment in the series.
  • You could always spoiler tag the show you're speaking of. I think I know which one you're talking about but would be curious to know the answer.
