Ah, good point. Had a feeling I may have forgotten yet another hot '70s Bond property - but how could I forget sexy little Manuela? Always been something of a must with me, has dinky Ms Bolton. ;)

Manuela now added - feel free to amend your votes if you wish, those who've already shown their hands this round... :)

    1. Jane Seymour (Solitaire, LALD)- Jane can call Erzulie and cast a voodoo spell on me any time
    2. Caroline Munro (Naomi, TSWLM)- What a gorgeous craft. Such lovely lines. My vote for hottest 70's Bond girl.
    3. Maud Adams (Andrea Anders, TMWTGG)- The first of 2 excellent performances as a Bond girl
    4. Emily Bolton (Manuela, MR)- She's a goddess compared to the rest of the dogs in this dud.
    5. Lana Wood (Plenty O'Toole, DAF)- Her assets are quite "plentiful"
    6. Jill St. John (Tiffany Case, DAF)- Just because she's fun.
    7. Madeline Smith (Agent Caruso, LALD)- I'd like to bring this kind of souvenir home from Italy too!
    8. Barbara Bach (Major Anya Amasova, TSWLM)- I wouldn't kick Mrs. Starkey out of bed, that's about all I can say

P.S- George, why no Olga Bisera?

Oh, it's a close catfight between the sixties and the seventies for me with the eighties coming in a very close 3rd. And Volpe is in my top 2.

Yes, it was all in the cards... with more than 85 percent of the total number of votes she could have picked up, The 'Die's darling Solitaire (otherwise known as the delectable Jane Seymour) is unquestionably your top Bond Girl of the '70s, peeps - the gold medal is hers. Indeed, so overwhelming was her victory she got more than twice the number of votes accrued by the silver medalist, the sultry Swede that is Maud Adams as Golden Gun's Andrea Anders, who was closely followed by bronze medalist, the lovely-lined (and lovely in real life - so I can attest, ahem) Caroline Munro as Spy's Naomi.

The rest of the contest's places were mostly taken up by Americans, with in fourth and fifth Spy and MR's main bits-of-all-right, Mrs Ringo Starr's Anya Amasova and Lois Chiles' Holly Goodhead, while saucy old Corinne Clery (MR's Corinne Dufour) in seventh was bookended by Mrs Robert Wagner (DAF's Tiffany Case) and Natalie's little - or, er, big - sister (DAF's Plenty O'Toole) in sixth and eighth respectively.

Ah, as ever, it's little change up top of the Medals Table, as both England and the States pick a more than decent slew of points (the former 17 - from a gold and a bronze, no less - and the latter 13), and France, yes, move clear of Italy and into third on their own, er, again thanks to that deceptively significant seventh place finish by Corinne La Clery.

But the real winners this week? That'd be... Sweden. Yup, way better than a very-impressive-but-ultimately-too-late-thus-insignificant goal from Ibramhimovic, Maud Adams' silver (her second of the tournament, mark you - which makes her only the second competitor of the tournament thus far to have won two medals) is like a silver spear of cool, Scandinavian ice that's propelled them, with its eight points, up to eighth place. Now, you'd think the big deal here is the fact the Swedes have moved up three places and the fact they're inside the top ten, right? Wrong, it's the fact they're in eighth place (and probably unlikely to be overtaken by anyone else now, looking at the contests to come) that's the rub. Why? Watch this space, folks - trust me, its significance'll become clear in the final week of the tournament. ;)

Event 24 coming right up... :)

On to the next, chaps, and a little (white) pussy tells me you may like this 'un...

    the_2012_james_bond_007_olympics-11.jpg

    <i>The competitors:</i>

22px-Flag_of_Canada.svg.png Joseph Wiseman (Dr No, DN)
22px-Flag_of_Austria.svg.png Lotte Lenya (Rosa Klebb, FRWL)
22px-Flag_of_England.svg.png Robert Shaw (Red Grant, FRWL)
22px-Flag_of_Austria.svg.png Ernest Pohlmann (Ernst Stavro Blofeld, FRWL and TB)
22px-Flag_of_Germany.svg.png Gert Fröbe (Auric Goldfinger, GF)
22px-Flag_of_Italy.svg.png Adolfo Celi (Emilio Largo, TB)
22px-Flag_of_England.svg.png Donald Pleasence (Ernst Stavro Blofeld, YOLT)
22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png Telly Savalas (Ernst Stavro Blofeld, OHMSS)

So, the task is simple... please arrange the eight competitors above into your favoured ordering - first to last (greatest to least) in terms of their <i>contribution to the cinematic James Bond</i>.

Voting for this event should remain open for <i>about a week</i>, after which the results and the updated Medal Table will be posted in this thread (as well as in the thread's opening post).

Oh, and just a reminder - when you do vote, please vote in this manner, chaps (as outlined in the thread's opening post); makes it a hell of a lot easier for me when I'm totting up the totals... ;)

    1st place (<font color=DarkOrange>Gold</font>) = 10 points
    2nd place (<font color=Gray>Silver</font>) = 8 points
    3rd place (<font color=SaddleBrown>Bronze</font>) = 7 points
    4th place = 5 points
    5th place = 4 points
    6th place = 3 points
    7th place = 2 points
    8th place = 1 point

Over to you, folks - get voting...! :)

A great decade for Bond villains. I'd give each of them 10 points if I could.

1st place (<font color=DarkOrange>Gold</font>) 22px-Flag_of_Austria.svg.png Ernest Pohlmann (Ernst Stavro Blofeld, FRWL and TB)= 10 points
    2nd place (<font color=Gray>Silver</font>) 22px-Flag_of_England.svg.png Robert Shaw (Red Grant, FRWL)= 8 points
    3rd place (<font color=SaddleBrown>Bronze</font>) 22px-Flag_of_Germany.svg.png Gert Fröbe (Auric Goldfinger, GF)= 7 points
4th place 22px-Flag_of_Austria.svg.png Lotte Lenya (Rosa Klebb, FRWL)= 5 points

8th place 22px-Flag_of_the_United_States.svg.png Telly Savalas (Ernst Stavro Blofeld, OHMSS)= 1 point

If Volpe were competing, she'd be my number 1 pick by far.
