I'm very excited even though haven't read anything yet. I just really really hope Kraken isn't Vivian Hunt. That's just too TWINE for me :(

    Fixed for you, @mcdonbb. :)

And yes, I got the very same feeling from it at first glance. Although, in a different manner than the aforementioned film.

VARGR will be released in Spanish November the 11th. It will be one volume and here is the preview of the first 10 pages!! http://www.archivo007.com/downloads/James_Bond_Vargr_preview.pdf

    The news: http://www.archivo007.com/index.php/noticias/007-literario/2214-vargr-llega-el-11-de-noviembre

It's a shame, the Bond comics are getting released that late in other languages.
VARGR Vol 1 only got released in April and Vol 2 EIDOLON will only arrive in April 2017!!

    Grrr....

    HELP!
Please you good people can you tell me what Bond comics are out there before VARGR.
I have no idea how many there are so if it is a lot just tell me what has been released in the last 5 years or so.
    Thanks a lot.

It is probably the whole VARGR I guess. 176 pages strong.

    Took photos :)

    full.jpg
    full.jpg

Vol 2 EIDOLON also a hard cover book with as many pages I pre-ordered last April and it said it'll be out in October and now they pushed it back to April 2017...

I might just as well go with the releases in English, only hope I can get EIDOLON also as a hard cover book version...otherwise I'll settle for the "normal" releases I guess.

Yes, that's the case, @BondJasonBond006. I'm surprised, though, that James Bond Vol. 1 as a hardcover came out in April in your territory. Here, we got the tradeback in June.

Eidolon (James Bond Vol. 2) as a tradeback won't come out till March 2017.

I will write a review and post it here.

Just know that I am an obsessed comic fan (Batman, Justice League, The Flash) and I have never read anything else than DC. If I touch Marvel I feel dirty :))
Doesn't apply to the films of course ;)

I'm a bit of a purist too when it comes to written Bond. I never read the other novels, only Fleming. But I know I miss out and I want and will read some of the new novels as soon as I get them.

By the way, what's that Felix Leiter thing? Are they doing a spin-off comic series? :D that would interest me a lot.

Yes, they are doing a comic spin-off miniseries (so far... if successful, could turn into a series). It focuses on Felix heading off to Japan contracted by Tiger Tanaka to investigate a terrorist act while tracking down a woman from his past who turns out to be a Russian spy.

The thing is, Jason, there haven't been Bond comics out there before VARGR since 1996. With GoldenEye's adaptation left incomplete...

But, there are some great comics out there by Dark Horse that leave you at the edge of your seat.

Yes, I totally agree. Serpent's Tooth is just way OTT but done with such panache it's an incredible fun ride.

And thanks for fixing my post. I couldn't even edit or delete it. Just got a grey box. I panicked lol.

A standalone Bond miniseries that debuted last week. :)

So after VARGR (which I started to re-read an hour ago) comes EIDOLON and HAMMERHEAD is the third one I guess?

We thought so, at first, @BondJasonBond006. But, it appears Hammerhead isn't part of the James Bond title, but rather it's own, separate from James Bond and a standalone. A six-issue miniseries. Not part of the main canon.

After Warren Ellis hangs the gun, Benjamin Percy will take over.

Yes @BondJasonBond006 it's a tad confusing at first ...I think because so much Bond at once lol ..but it's a great time to be a Bond comics fan.

    It's like a "Bondgasm" lol
