    They are all Bond movies?

You are correct, but it s a bit more xclusive. As far as I can remember the connection is unique to those Bond films.

A clue, then. It has to do with characters.

I'm stumped. I need to watch NSNA again for this I think. Haven't watched that since I was a teen.
  • Lots of possibilities here: I already discarded that all the bad guys are from German-speaking country (Walken isn't, and the bad guy in FYEO is Gogol after all, although he's a good sport, and Gotell IS German).
I also thought about helicopters being blown away in all these films, but this is about characters (and besides, I don't remember a helicopter exploding in NSNA)...

    No answer, then.

    Just repeating the question, then.

A common character trait in TSWLM, FYEO, NSNA, AVTAK and SP.

    The need for revenge/vengeance?

In FYEO, AVTAK and SP a common trait would be the Bond girl avenging their fathers, but I can't see how TSWLM and NSNA again fit into it so I'm not in the right ball-park there.

It s not about something they do. It isn t really a trait per se either. It s just something a character in each of those films has in common with characters in the other films.

Another clue. The most minor of those characters is probably in TSWLM. FYEO is an odd one. The most major characters are in NSNA and AVTAK. They also serve the same functions in those two films.

    Enough clues.

Do you really need a more obvious clue? OK, only the one in FYEO survives.

Characters in TSWLM, FYEO, NSNA, AVTAK and SP have one thing in common. That is one character per film.

Is that so? Not what I have in mind.

But out of curiosity, which character did you have in mind for each of those films, @Birdleson?

Like I said, it s not something they do, and I can reveal that neither of those two are among the characters.

Yes, but he isn t named as such and there is no indication it is supposed to be the same bird.

    I'll take this up, then.

What theme connects Zardoz, The Play What I Wrote and Hot Fuzz?

How about the ex-Bonds that featured in these productions having a moustache. I know Connery & Dalton did but not sure of Moore.

Well, he did sport a beard in "North Sea Hijack". Dalton sports one in "Penny Dreadful", and Sir Sean Connery has one in "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen".

Yeah I knew Connery had a 'tache in Zardoz & Dalton in Hot Fuzz, just wasn't sure on Moore in the play. Wrong anyway, nay mind.
