    Maybe he'd done what I did with my VHS copy of GoldenEye and worn it out by watching it too many times.

    I should start recollecting the Bonds on VHS. For no other reason than out of nostalgia of watching them the way I did as a kid. Kind of weird, but.......it's Bond. I'm sure there are Star Wars fans that probably do the same.
    SPECTRE is the last one I watched, BTW. It was good. Daniel kicked ass once again.

    I actually still own a LaserDisc player and all the Bond films up to TND on LaserDisc.

    Oh the memories....good ones.

    Those were really events back then; seeing a Bond film on The ABC Sunday Night Movie was a big deal.

    That probably puts me around the same age as well. They were indeed events- especially in my family when we first got a VHS player. The first Bond I recorded was DAF, in January of '86. I was mastering the art of deleting the commercials. What was so cool about the ABC print was the original UA Transamerica logo that preceded the gunbarrel.
    Sad to say, my copy of DAF was accidentally recorded over a few months later. I was so pissed.

    I'm 53, my first Bond in the theater was Live and Let Die It was quite eye opening for a 10 year old back then. Lol

    I just wonder because, strangely enough I haven't yet found another member that has, I can't be the only one can I?

    Diamonds Are Forever (1971) - right now. Super rare for me to put this one on barring a marathon, since it's near the bottom of my ranking. Just in the mood for some more silly Bond for some reason. Probably because of all those horror films I watched.

    And since I have been doing things slightly out of order as of late (want to finish the bond a thon before the new year we turn to the world is not enough (which I will re watch when it is it's time in January) it is simply the strongest Brosnan film period. Again much like the later Moore films I am realizing that the Brosnan films aren't as bad as I remember them. I love the fact that bond is essentially investigating a murder much Like Dr. No and some of my other favorites the setup is simple the plot is some what complex (ok .it's not at the level of Usual Suspects but still) it's a strong beautiful film and as for Dr Jones as someone else said who cares if her acting is poor I am a man and she is a woman. She is far better then women like Stacey Sutton and Dr Goodhead and honestly Denise Richards does a better job then either of them. (She really tries god bless her) apart from some bad puns in the film it's a 10 out of 10

    And yeah I am surprised that now OHMSS is out of my top 5 but sorry the world is not enough is that good (though even that will likely be knocked out of my top 5 with both licecne to kill and my favorite bond film of all time Casino Royale)

    A view to a kill - Moore last outing that has touches of the Moonraker novel. especially in the person played by Christopher Walken who plays essentially plays the millionaire who gets caught cheating before wanting to destroy Silicon Valley. A fairly good actioner and Tanya Roberts is hot. Well scripted and some great stunts and excellent music from the master Barry.

    The World Is Not Enough
    A very enjoyable Bond film. I couldn't believe how fast the film went by, it felt as no sooner had the gunbarrel finished, that the end credits started playing. The only gripe is Denise Richards, while she isn't the least bit believing as a Nuclear Physicist, she is very convincing as eye candy. The standout of the cast, is undoubtedly Robert Carlyle, who isn't the most intimidating person, but he can play some intimidating characters (Renard, Begbie, and Albie Kinsella).

    I saw TWINE today as well, always super enjoyable. Brosnan is a legend.

    During the Brosnan era, especially around the time of TND and TWINE I totally believed Pierce would stick around for 6 or 7 films like Sean and Roger.

    Biggest difference for me is with 2 Dalton films and OHMSS I can watch them over and over and over again and not get tired of them. Whereas, I do have to be in the mood for TND or TWINE.

    I always get startled when someone says LTK is the most rewatchable film in the franchise. People say that all the time, I just don't see it.

    I guess it's different for everyone. The most rewatchable for me might actually be DR NO, though OP is really up there.
