Well I must say I'm very happy to see my beloved 'Octopussy' featuring so well in many of the lists I'm seeing.
Certainly appears to have more appreciation than I thought it did. Well done all.

i typically don't like to set my Top 10 in stone, it's often time a very fluid thing for me.. the only films i've ever been 100% concrete on are my top 2 favorites, and my 2 least favorite... but for the sake of this post, i will try my best to narrow down my personal top 10...

    1. From Russia With Love (12pts)
    2. Casino Royale (10pts)
    3. Goldfinger (8pts)
    4. Skyfall (7pts)
    5. Goldeneye (6pts)
    6. The Living Daylights (5pts)
    7. The Spy Who Loved Me (4pts)
    8. Thunderball (3pts)
    9. Octopussy (2pts)
    10. Live And Let Die (1pts)

as of September 3, 2016 - this would probably be my top 10... ones that just missed the cut were OHMSS, SP, LTK, QOS, and TND.

People in here don't realize it that often, but my God have CR and SF really shaken up the franchise so much that they can even battle certain Connery-classics like GF and FRWL?

Great list by the way @haserot :-). To me it seems that, compared to like 8 years ago, TSWLM and GE are slowly sinking on our rankings (and those of movie critics).

Maybe not sinking but overtaken by the Craig movies which have breathed new life in the franchise whether one likes them or not

One film's overtaking means the other film's sinking :-P.

Lol ok you win. What I mean is that even though it's sunk a little I don't think general opinions about those films have changed
