^ and in Daniel's other hand, he's busy typing script possibilities on a tablet. Poor QOS and the writers strike.... If any Bond movie deserves a redo, it's that one

Those are terrific shots. Like you Blandings I haven't seen most of those. Love the shot of Connery and Thumper ( can't recall her name).

Most importantly, it seems Sean had way more fun on the set of "Diamonds Are Forever" as compared to "You Only Live Twice" :-).

By the way, this was perhaps the very last time we saw the S.P.E.C.T.R.E.-Octopus-logo in a Bond film:

And this year, exactly 44 years after "DAF", we will witness the return of S.P.E.C.T.R.E......and its wonderful logo ;-):

Looking at Connery I am assuming this is from Thunderball?

Yes, It's from Thunderball. It's a publicity photo from a magazine. I believe it was Look magazine. I posted the same photo on here some time ago.

Robert Davi is a great actor. I think he belongs there with Gert Frobe, Christopher Lee, Christopher Walken and Javier Bardem. Also Davi completely indulged in the character that was written for him. I admire that. Sadly his career hasn't been as succesful as the actors I just mentioned. Though I'm very curious how he portrays Soviet president Leonid Brezhnev in the upcoming biopic "Reagan".
