Which of the films are necessary of all 23

Hey guys! Just joined! Just thought id ask if anyone had any ideas on this.
So i was thinking that id want to watch the films again, but there are 23 for god sake. So i was wondering what you guys think one should watch if all 23 films were brought down to a list of 5-10(ish) movies. It could be based on which films are most important to the series, which films are the better films, or just a personal list in your mind. I would personally put OHMSS on the list just because it kind of unites all the films and is also just a great entry. But otherwise id love your opinion. Thanks.

    1) Dr. No
    2) From Russia with Love
    3) Goldfinger
    4) On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    5) Live and Let Die
    6) The Spy Who Loved Me
    7) For Your Eyes Only
    8) GoldenEye
    9) Casino Royale
    10) Skyfall

    Not exactly my top ten mind you, but I think this should provide a very good overview of some of the series' finest moments and most classically (or traditionally) Bondian outings as well as the series' numerous changes in style and tone:

    1. Dr. No
    2. Goldfinger
    3. Thunderball
    4. On Her Majesty's Secret Service
    5. Live & Let Die
    6. Octopussy
    7. The Living Daylights
    8. GoldenEye
    9. The World is Not Enough
    10. Casino Royale

    And anyway, let's face it: once you've watched ten, you won't be able to resist seeking out more. ;)

    Some of these lists will put the poor man off Agent Bond for life.

    You need one from each actor and each decade, obviously... I'll pick their best...

    1) Thunderball
    2) OHMSS
    3) Spy
    4) Daylights
    5) Goldeneyes
    6) Skyfall

    Then round out the top 10 with ones that sum up an era:

    7) Early 70s smart-mouth: Live and Let Die (to give an added taste of Roger)
    8) Classic 60s, but the boring vibes of the Terence Young films are covered by TB: so I'll include Russia With Love
    9) The Dreary late-90s Brosnan blandness era: TWINE
    10) Stodgy Rodgy early 80s era: Octopussy

    There you go, encapsulates the whole series. A taste of all flavours.
