    Connery for me

..though I wonder what might have been with Lazenby...not a popular view though I know

I appreciate being added to the Brosnan list without having even posted in this thread yet! Many thanks @thelivingroyale!
  • Please put me on Dalton's,sirs :)
  • Timothy Dalton!

did I already say that? Who cares! I'll say it again, but Connery between 1962-65 comes mighty close to what Fleming originally intended, both were almost the epitome of what James Bond should be
  • After a prolonged absense I'm back. You guys miss me? What can I say I've been out enjoying death. ;)

I would've thought by now I'd be listed as a Craig man. But I guess Im still a question mark. Put me down for Daniel Craig please.

Well, I love Connery and Lazenby, Dalton and Craig. I even have a soft spot for Pierce Brosnan.
But if push comes to shove, then deep down, I'll always be a Moore Bond.
He introduced me to Bond with TSWLM, and gave me OP. How could I go against him?
(That question need not be answered)
  • You can put me down for Connery. Craig is a close second, and Dalton is not far behind.

Great thread. Please add me to the Craig list pronto!

Connery tops for sure, followed by
    Brosnan
    Dalton
    Craig
    Lazenby
    Moore
  • Brosnan, Dalton and Craig all with the same number of votes! Connery out in front by nearly twice as many as either of the other three, I was kind of surprised actually. Good to see some have Lazenby as favorite Bond actor, and Yes, I was surprised to see at least three votes for it. Moore also did not too bad. What we need is for some lurkers to come on or new members and vote, or declare their love for Tim Dalton so we can have him out in front or try to overtake Connery in favorite listings

Ok, It's not a race or contest, but there you are

I have a question: best bond actor or best bond?

Best Bond. I'll change the thread title to make it clearer.

    Thanks. Then:

    5: Timothy Dalton
    4: Pierce Brosnan
    3: George Lazenby
    2: Daniel Craig
1: Sean Connery and Roger Moore

Connery and Moore were two sides of the same coin. One had what the other one lacked, and they complimented so well each other. I wouldn't be able to choose between them.

So Connery and Moore it is.

Pierce Brosnan. I have always been a vocal defender for Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.

Craig is getting closer and closer to Sean for me as his era goes on.

put me down for Craig though I wasn't the biggest fan of skyfall (it wasn't bad I just felt a little let down I waited 4 years for THIS unlike Casino Royale where the 4 year wait was well recieved) So yeah CR and QOS were brilliant and I like even SkyFall I do plan on sitting down one saturday and watching all 3 films back to back to see where Skyfall really ranks
