Watched the highlights the players have given up.
Surprised by Liverpool's recent form, although I haven't been able to watch them play. You'd think a team that was so good last season would do the same this season. Long way to go still, of course.
I decided this was the week to play the Free Hit, as there was no easy way to the transfers I looked at. Hits will be made in upcoming gameweeks for sure, but will have to see how this gameweek plays out before making any plans.

That turned out to be a strong win for United. Didn't catch the game, so I don't know how the teams played though.

United losing Amad and Mbeumo to AFCON is bad news as we struggle with them in the team, they are by far our two best attackers currently.

England in Group L (for last group so will have to wait an age for there first game 17th June).
If England win there group they will play a third placed team from another group...
Notables...
Brazil first game is Morocco.
Uruguay in Spain's group.
France first game Senegal, history there.
England's first game will be Croatia, I am happy with that, we now avoid danger teams like Norway or home nations.
The first game of the World Cup will be Mexico vs South Africa.
USA vs Paraguay will be interesting.
Germany's group is looking tough,
Scotland in Brazil and Morocco's group.
Argentina first game Algeria.
England's last game Panama.
Norway in France and Senegal's group, group of death.
Pot 4 is complicated with so many play off's. if Italy qualify they have an easy group.
England have Croatia, Ghana, Panama. Happy with that as its competitive to a degree.
Rio did a great job when we actually got to the draw.

I've been looking at Mbuemo as a possible transfer in, but obviously with AFCON, I couldn't. It's difficult for teams when you have important players like that missing PL games, and United might be the one team where you have two African players being arguably their most important ones (Bruno F aside obviously).
I'll be looking at using those extra transfers to clear out some players. I made a late -4, which might be a bad move in hindsight, but at least that gives me the opportunity to maybe not using all those extra transfers at once.
I didn't get beyond the first five minutes of that draw. :)) Norway of course get one of the worst group of them all. I'll be very surprised if they get many points at all.
I am hoping Norway knock out France as England never show up when we face them.
I think that will be difficult. For all of Norway's attacking options, the defence isn't particularly good…
Injuries finally caught up with Arsenal. Yet again a season is likely to be defined who's fit or not. I find it strange how impacted this team always is by injuries.
Gabriel is a big miss @Torgeirtrap when are Gyökeres and Havertz back, is Jesus still a the club?
Wasn't able to watch the game, but was able to enjoy Bruno Guimarães' points in my FPL team!
Not only him, but without Saliba they are forced to play players that haven't played together – and with Mosquera injured too now, options are very few.
Gyökeres got 45 mins yesterday, but looks way off it. Havertz had an injury setback, but is apparently fit to play over Christmas I believe. Jesus has played a friendly as well as an U21 game against United's U21 yesterday, since returning from injury. Imagine he will need some time still to be able to play fist team football.
I did not know Saliba was out also, I am glad i brought in Foden this GW as not got much points from elsewhere. Hopefully Mbeumo and Lammens can get points tonight though I would not be shocked if wolves beat us on current form.
1 - 0 Bruno scores it was a bit farcical, comedy of errors and Bruno even slipped to score.
Wolves score in 46th minute 1 - 1, Wolves not scored for god knows how many games, I am not surprised. This game has looked like a championship clash, United have been the better side though no real quality or composure.
2 - 1 Mbeumo, Wolves are so open.
This game is abysmal, i feel numb and apathetic as a United supporter.
The fact we keep doing the same thing game after game after game and we don't improve is baffling.
3 - 1 Mount, good goal I did not cheer as Wolves are so bad.

Man United penalty... Bruno scores, 2 goals and an assist for Bruno. I should not have gone Bruno to Mbeumo a month back.
