You should check out When Saturday Comes which stars Sean Bean, the films is about Sean's real life beloved football team Sheffield United. When Saturday Comes very much depicts where Sean came from, its very good.

Saw Giant at the London Film Festival last night, with Pierce in good form as boxing trainer Brendan Ingle. And you get to see him reunited with Toby Stephens as a stinking rich promoter!

Pierce couldn't be at the screening so he'd recorded an apologetic message from his luxury beach house hoping we'd enjoy it.
  • Doesn’t appear that Giant is getting good reviews so far. I really want PB to be in another critically acclaimed film again that makes money as
Well. I can’t remember the last time this happened. Maybe he needs a new agent?

THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB Official Trailer (2025) Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, Netflix

As a fan of the genre looking forward to this, looks like fun. Directed by Chris Columbus no less, I will likely purchase this if possible.

PB looks like a more handsome version of George Lucas. 🤭 I think that look might work if Brosnan came back for a farewell Bond film.

It's the 30th anniversary of the premiere of GoldenEye today.

He will get his unofficial last Bond film soon B-)

No showings where I live. Pity, as GE is the one Brozza film I didn't get to see in cinemas.

I think I might have seen it five times back then! It had been a long break between films after all :D
  • Happy 30th Anniversary to Goldeneye! It’s probably my favorite Bond film.

Brilliant Bond film, and one of my favourites. Unfortunately not playing near me or one I've ever seen on the big screen, but I'm sure I'll give it a rewatch soon!

Incredible that the existing final version of Xenia suffocating that Admiral with her thighs is the reshot "less racy" version....
  • I often wonder if that scene would even happen in a Bond film nowadays. It's kind of wild!

Yeah it's quite a lot isn't it! Although weirdly, despite what it's depicting, I've never felt it's too much somehow. Is it because it's so cartoonish? I'm not really sure; I guess it's another mark to Campbell, pulling off a sex scene in a way which somehow won't upset anyone.
Maybe in contrast to the DAD one, which I get a bit uncomfortable in! :D

Happy 30th Goldeneye!! Anytime I introduce the Bond films to new people, I always tell them to watch Goldeneye first. It's the perfect first Bond film for someone new to watch.

Still one of my favorite Bond and the villain moments from the series. Great character development for both. You sympathize with Alec. While not going into a family soap opera drama, that other later Bonds go into feeling.
