    Never seen Baby Driver the film never appealed to me, Scott Pilgrim I own though been a while since I watched it. I have the Cornetto Trilogy boxset on Blu-ray I love those movies, Spaced was a great show also.

    Personally, I’m more drawn to Wright’s more serious movies (Baby Driver and Last Night in Soho), but the comedies I’ve seen so far (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) are still very good. I’m skeptical on if I’ll enjoy his Running Man movie, but from what I’ve seen he is pretty consistent.

    Yep, he doesn't let us down, all his films are at least a solid 7/10 at minimum.

    I loved Hot Fuzz and I liked The World's End. I'm going against perceived wisdom here though as I'll admit I found Shaun of the Dead to be just okay. Couldn't stand Ed in that one... Sorry.

    For those in the New York City area,

    As part of their "Art of the Score" series, the New York Philharmonic is presenting Hitchcock's PSYCHO with a live orchestra. Note, tickets are a bit pricey, but the "live" experience makes up for it. The film will be screened on October 30th to November 1st.

    If these prices are out of your league (out of mine too at the moment), be aware that Alamo Drafthouses around the US are celebrating "Godzilla Day" (November 3rd) by screening 1984's RETURN OF GODZILLA. Note, this is NOT the US "Godzilla 1985" edit but the original Japanese version of the film.



    Exciting stuff, but it seems that my run of bad luck is continuing as all of the screenings near me are SOLD-OUT. :((

    Hunt for Gollum won't work with the original actors. They're too old and de-aging makes old actors look weird.

    Awesome I have The Mummy trilogy on 4K admittedly I rarely watch the third film for obvious reasons.

    I would have liked to see Stephen Sommers return to the helm as I am a fan of all his films, he does not seem to direct in recent years which is a shame IMO he gets it that old school fun adventure vibe.

    First two were great. 3rd definitely was lacking. Personally Weisz was missed dearly. I think Sommers doesn't have any interest in doing additional Mummy films past the few two. They just need to keep it in Egypt this time around

    Love the first two Mummies equally. Saw the third one in the cinema and considered it one of the worst films ever.

    I saw the first 2 Mummy films at the cinema though skipped on the third. Weisz and Fraser's chemistry is what made the first two films so great (as well as the movies being very respectful to the classic Universal Horror films).

    The first Mummy was great. An Indiana Jones style adventure that was better than the last two Indiana Jones movies. The second was just ok and the third was a complete shambles. I don't really want a new one, even with the original cast returning. Yet more utter lack of imagination from Hollywood.

    I can definitely see why people would be hesitant. However, having them return, especially with the resurgence of Fraser, could be something special. Im thinking that it'll be 1950s Egypt. I like the fact that they're going to retcon the third film completely

    I definitely want to see the Sisu sequel. Based on quality and trajectory, it’s looking to be the period piece edition of John Wick!

    Absolutely apples and oranges but his action skills bodes well for the Rambo project; he may be something unique to the character.
