It's correct for an agent to use the NATO wristband in the field.

I always preferred nylon straps. More comfortable on the wrist.

Yeah I like nylon. I don't love Nato straps though, because of where the buckle ends up on my wrist I find them uncomfortable, I like just normal style straps.

I prefer steel (be it stainless or pvd) or rubber straps.

I prefer leather straps on watches but I do like the look of those NATO straps. I still think the Omega from SPECTRE is my favourite but I like the complications on the FL one.

I love the Spectre watch too, but then I see it in the film and it's so thick it looks like a coke can on his wrist, especially with that nato under it. I remember really noticing it in the train scene where he's showing Madeline the gun.
Not sure why Omega make them so thick. I was looking at my mate's Speedmaster Racing the other day, and it has a display caseback, but I was baffled to see that the crystal on it is domed rather than flat- so it sits even higher on your wrist than it needs to.

Oh yeah totally. Quite apart from the fact that I don’t think I could ever justify spending that much on a watch, if it looks massive on Craig's wrist then it would absolutely dwarf mine, so it’ll remain something I can appreciate from afar.

Apparently Lana Del Ray just registered a song titled “First Light” with ASCAP. Potential title theme song? Del Ray would be one hell of a get.

That would be huge publicity for the game. Hopefully it doesn't ruin her chances of doing a Bond theme for the film series, she's great.

Blimey, that would be seriously impressive.

Yeah I’m not in the gaming world, but from what I’ve seen there’s quite a bit of excitement about FL from gamers, is that right? I guess a fair bit of that comes from it apparently being an extension to the Hitman concept, plus being Bond of course.

I am wondering how much this overlaps with Michael Wilson and Maibaum’s early Bond 15 treatment, with a young Bond coming out of the Navy and given a mentor in the shape of Lennie James’ character. I think something said he’s an ex-00 as well, so I guess he’ll have been the previous 007; perhaps he’ll die and Bond will take on his number in tribute, as also featured in the 1986 film synopsis.
Or he’ll turn out to be the villain maybe. I think he’s a key character anyway.
I am excited and hope you are right

I think Broccoli and Wilson were consulting on the game prior to the Amazon buy out - I think it was around the time of the 60th Anniversary auction, when they interviewed MGW - he remarked a few times they were working on a new video game.

So I wouldnt be surprised at all if there was an exchange of ideas.
Honestly its why i am excited about first light more so then the films as this to me feels like bond 26 with Patrick gibson being the last eon approved actor to play 007
