The guest stars in both series are second to none and have a lot of cross over with Doctor Who. I was watching an episode at work last night and Donald Sutherland was guest starring, of course Donald appeared in The Saint also.
Incredibly Martin Shaw and Lewis Collins first paired up as villains in The New Avengers and would later team up again as good guys in The Professionals as Bodie and Doyle.
And I was lucky enough to see Dame Joanna on stage at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane (which curiously is not on Drury Lane). I enjoyed the evening very much.
There were two seasons to be fair.
I thought it had its moments.
