Great write up on OCTOPUSSY, @CommanderRoss .
I'm going with NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN tonight keeping a 1983 theme going.
I like Connery's outfit in the opening sequence. I remember this scene of Bond sliding under the telephone wires in the cinema.
Abandoned building in the Bahamas. I love it! I believe this location was located a few years ago.
Looking at Connery's rug here. My wife gave me a Bond haircut today. The back and sides are more like Craig's in SPECTRE, the top is like Sean's rug here. :D

Now that I'm 50, I'm paying more attention to my health like Bond here. We've cut out the white bread like Bond. No gyms in my area, so I have to suffice with weights my wife brought, and other exercises. It's fair to assume many Bond fans are aiming for Craig's CR physique, whereas I will be perfectly satisfied eventually achieving the Connery NSNA build. :D
I like Bond's subdued clothing style in this film. Richie Cunningham's brother is about to take a beating................

I think Chuck Cunningham rather enjoyed being slapped around by Fatima.
Here we go...........the great Pat Roach. One of the reasons I'm partial to this film is certain scenes remind me of the early Bonds. This fight is reminiscent of the Oddjob sequence. Bond is getting tossed around like a rag doll.

Great Q scene..........and now we get my favorite: Valerie Leon.

Bernie Casey might be my favorite Felix.

20 years ago I worked with a guy who truly believed Dalton was in this film and being groomed by Kevin McClory to take over from Roger Moore.
He read it on the now defunct IMDb forums.

    Words failed me.

I like the Tears of Allah set. It reminds me of Indiana Jones.

Last week I attempted to watch both TND and QoS. Sadly I couldn't get thru either film. They just didn't hit the spot or suit my mood. Interesting how this film does, though.
Here I am at the rather tepid climax, yet I'm enjoying every frame.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Maud Adams? As to say not attractive, not interesting.

    😳 😳😳
Couldn't disagree more. Gorgeous in TMWTGG, still gorgeous here!

hahaha I'm fine with beeing the only one ;-) I never got the appeal to Nocole Kidman either, and as far as I know, I stand alone there too.
Without the jokes and the convoluted plot, Octopussy wouldn't be Octopussy.

I didn't mean to completely leave them out, but things like Vijay hitting the goons with a tennis racket and the public looking from left to right, the 'sit' to the tiger, it's all too much and takes away from the tension. It's just too far off from on the other hand Vijay's killing 'he was still alive when I found him

I can understand about the former...but certainly not the latter. QoS never disappoints me! Love it!

Thats because a lot of production team worked on the Indiana Jones movies, including Doug Slocumbe on cinematography!
