In typical @ToTheRight fashion, I just switched the Blu-ray for the old SE DVD to compare. I prefer the colors on the SE DVD. The Lowery version looked too saturated to me.

    I imagine a 4K to be perfect.

My wife and I went to an alligator farm on our honeymoon. We had a blast riding thru the swamps on a tour boat. Great times.

When I was a kid OHMSS seemed to be considered the Bond that had the most different feel to the others. I actually thought LALD was the most unusual, and I loved it all the more.

    TWINE

One watched numerous times as a teenager but wound up preferring its video game on the ps1.

How will it fare now I'm nearly forty?

    Let's see.

The opening shot in Bilbao is pretty good. Excellent shot of the museum and Bond introduced blithely; i.e. not with the theme music blasting outrageously, in case you did not know.

The 'banker' themed dialogue in the office scene is pretty terrible.

Also, Brosnan's heavy breathing has returned. As have the juvenile quips.

If you can't trust a Swiss banker....

I know how difficult that is as a Swiss banker....

Let's count to three. You can do that, can't you?

Stop being a 'Welsh banker', Pierce.

Villain takes too long shooting Bond and is played by someone who I've seen in something before but cannot be bothered working out.

Way too long on the shot. Way too long.

    Silva School Of Henchmen?

Would have preferred a Bilbao chase to open the movie, with Renard involved somehow.

I know Bond has to return the money, it's just the London chase is far too much and takes the pts nearly above fifteen minutes, which is too long.

The tethered henchman is clearly still alive. I know he's supposed to be, but come on Pierce, wakey wakey!

The jump is pretty clever but doesn't need the 007 fanfare over it.

Christ, does Pierce ever suit a suit.

    Fair play.

How hard could it be to stop King if they think a bomb is going to go off?

Why is it up to Moneypenny?

    Why doesn't she succeed?

The music over the Thames chase is fairly good but the chase itself is clunky andoverlong.

Renard and Silva went to the same screenwriters, yes?

Both quality actors albeit weak villains.
