  R.I.P. Robert Benton, best known for Kramer vs Kramer ( or Crymore vs Crymore as Mad magazine called it!) But my favourite of his is 'Bad Company' gritty western with Jeff Bridges. Must dig it out of my collection and watch it again!

  Yes, always a bright spot in his appearances. Ironically, Cheers ended 32 years ago today.

  RIP my aunt Solange. She died at 94, the oldest sister of my brother. At the end, she was mostly blind, mostly deaf and in pain, so she is truly at peace.
