@Torgeirtrap thankfully we beat Hong Kong Obi had a brace and was quality, at 17 made Rasmus look bad. Obi has great positional sense and reflex, Rasmus is very cumbersome.

I'm a bit worried that Arsenal let Chido Obi go. Time will tell hoe he does in the long term, but they should do what they can to make the best talents stay and develop in the club or on loan.
Cuhna close signing for United, deal agreed according to reports. A very good player very happy.

The Bruno situation should be resolved soon, £100 million for a 31 year old I would take it.

Bruno staying, it looks like. Add Cunha and Mbuemo to the list, and United have a great transfer window already. Checking news about Arsenal signings daily, but other than "contact made" or "in talks", nobody looks any close to signing yet. My biggest fear for Arsenal, is that they are unable to get any deals over the line, and that we see them making late loan moves in crucial positions…

Hopefully we will get Gyokeres also, it appears to be on if we can sell.

Ange being sacked a very Spursey thing to do.

Been that busy I forgot the Internationals were on, France vs Spain was a cracker apparently.

England play tonight, I have yet to watch a full Tuchel game yet.

Edited: Great result for Norway, have you qualified for the WC since the tournament you beat Brasil @Torgeirtrap

Looks like Arsenal are advancing in talks with Šeško, so it looks like Gyokeres will go elsewhere. If they get Cunha, Mbuemo and Gyokeres, United will look really strong for next season.

Nut surprised that Sp*rs sacked Ange, despite the title win. Time will tell if that was a good or bad decision, but the way the looked last season, it's understandable that they want to look elsewhere.

The last time Norway qualified for a tournament was Euro 2000, so it's been a while! After last night's result it looks really promising for sure. This group of players deserve to play a tournament more than any other generation of players. They are more than a step above those who represented the national side before them.

It will be interesting to see how Tuchel does with this England team. He's spoiled with great players to choose from.

Here's hoping United need to recruit well after that debacle last season. Spurs have been mentioned regarding Mbuemo, it's just because Thomas Frank is Spurs bound, Mbuemo only wants United in favour of other top clubs for United so hopefully won't go to Spurs.

I switched the England game off I was bored, the players were not really trying though this late in the season I hate having Internationals.

Norway have two or three world class players that should appear in the biggest tournaments.

Norway have a few players that should experience what it's like to play a big international tournament. They still need to do the job to get qualified though. No goals against Estonia so far…

Watching the Club World Cup easily the worst opening ceremony I have ever seen, I hope Inter Mimi get battered in this opening game.

The only thing that gives this tournament any validity is the ridiculous prize money which is around £100 million plus.

There are a lot of past legends in attendance.

Come on Alhly FC. This game should be a miss match with regards to energy.

Alhly FC should be two up already.
Alhly FC very good in the transition.
Alhly FC best player gone of injured shoulder apparently, though when going off he grabbed one shoulder then quickly switched to the other.
Another great chance easily could be 3 up.
Alhly FC score and ridiculous late offside. Alhly FC are so much quicker than Inter Miami and they are hardly pressing them.
Red card surely... Joke second yellow Inter player should have walked.
Alhly FC penalty... Come on... Straight at keeper. Hmm

Half time I bet Inter win in the second half and Messi scores.

Opening the tournament with this game was a mistake.

Messi goes close will free kick.

0 - 0 FIFA president did not look happy. Inter with two late chances.

The European sides will beat these teams easily.

Watching Bayern vs Auckland next, this could be 10 - 0. Media talking BS trying to big up this competition.

FIFA clearly spent a lot of money employing ex 90's and 00's players to try and up the Star power.

It's great for Auckland as they get 2 million for turning up, apparently they are sharing that money amongst the teams of there domestic league which is pretty cool.

😂 Studio just asked reporter have you seen any Auckland fans in the stadium, her response was 'I'll have a look around' 😂

It's only 6 - 0 at half time, complete mismatch.

In club ranking Bayern are almost 5000 places ahead of Auckland, this is a bit embarrassing for FIFA.

I gave up on the Club world cup early as I could not take it seriously with at least 5 of the best teams in the world not being there.

So tragic what happened to Jota and his brother.

Took a mini break of sorts from here, first time in months I have accessed the site with y PC.

Pre season not far away so will be watching my team and hope they get some more players in quick before we go on tour.

Arsenal sign Zubimendi and close to signing Gyokeres, these are final pieces of the puzzle for them they have to win the league next season surely.

United's striker hopes look bleak being linked to Calvert Lewin wt.. i say get Oli Watkins in now whilst we can.

Haven't watched a minute of the Club World Cup, as I don't think it's available here. Looks to be a massive gap in quality between the best and the worst teams in the tournament!

Thomas Frank will be a good signing for Sp*rs, but I highly doubt Mbuemo will choose them over United. At United he will be a key player, for a team you expect to compete for titles.

Looks like the honeymoon is over for Tuchel. Wasn't able to watch the game, but it doesn't look like I missed much!

Norway have a few players that should experience what it's like to play a big international tournament. They still need to do the job to get qualified though. No goals against Estonia so far…

It was a good Nation League final, I think. It had all the drama you want to see in a final.

England were poor vs Senegal, the players clearly didn't want the game. I have done a deep dive into the club world Cup I will watch it when it starts, the teams involved will suffer early next season that for sure with so many fixtures.

I am debating whether to do the club World Cup fantasy game 🤔

Cunha offial sporting the new home kit. Let's get some more in.

Cuhna is a Man United supporter as a kid, I love that.

I haven't really been following the Club World Cup myself. I also don't know if the games will be available on one of the streaming services I follow! :)) If the games are being aired on one of them, I will make sure to watch a few of them at least.

I can see teams struggling at the start of next season, as a result of this tournament. I'm sure this is something that the managers have in mind, and that we will se quite a bit of rotation in order to protect the players.

Cunha is a great signing for United. Also a strong message signing for them despite the season they had, I think.
Liverpool have agreed to pay £100 million in transfer fees for Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz with a potential £16m in add-ons.

Liverpool will look so strong for next season if they get all their reported transfer targets. I'm pretty sure next season will be all about them and City.

It could be a record year for signings in the EPL, especially the richer clubs 💲💲?

    Goal fests in the CWC.⚽

Wouldn't surprise me! Some clubs have spent a lot already, and others will break the bank for their targets, no doubt.

According to reports chelsea have already signed 7 players...

Chelsea have signed Joao Pedro from Brighton in a deal worth up to £60m; forward has signed a seven-year deal with the Blues; Brazil international will join Chelsea at the Club World Cup; Pedro could make Chelsea debut in quarter-final against Palmeiras on Saturday

Will be interesting to see who leaves Chelsea. Madueke is open to joining Arsenal, from what I've read.

Just saw the news regarding Partey.
Musiala injury looks really bad, omg tough to watch, hope he recovers well.

Very tragic indeed, re. Jota and his brother. Such a great player in the Prem, who will be missed.

I've had a break from the site too. Been busy otherwise, so haven't had much time to log on. Knew about the rumours re. Partey, but with things not confirmed, I didn't know what to believe. What's worrying is the club trying to renew his contract; they surely must have known… Makes me think of the situation with Babacar Sarr at Molde during Ole Gunnar's time there. What was worse in that case, was the club selling him to a club abroad, so that he could essentially escape. He's still wanted internationally for not appearing in court.

Saw the images of Musiala last night. Really bad injury, but hopefully one he'll recover well from. I wonder how this might impact Bayern in the transfer marked this Summer. Musiala will be out for a while…

Great to have Zubimendi confirmed finally. Will be important to have him ready for the next season. The whole Gyökeres /Šeško saga have been going on forever it seems! I just hope Gyökeres will be the player the club needs. Reports online have suggested Šeško to be Arteta's preference, but it looks like RB Leipzig have made that deal impossible, with the player too having not been easy to deal with (apparently). Gyökeres has been a different story, at least from the player's side.

I hope Arsenal will push hard for their other targets too, if they get the Gyökeres deal finalised. The squad needs further strengthening if they want to compete for titles. Right now, City and Liverpool look too strong.

I had no idea though i don't go on social media though some who does said they heard rumors about Partey, you have to wonder how its impacted arsenal on the pitch.

Not sure if Bayern have a number 10 in the squad who can step up, it brings to the forefront the argument of way too many games being played.

Right now I think its Arsenal or Liverpool for the title. I still thin city have issues.

Man United the way things are going we will be lucky to get in the top 10.

Who knows? We obviously know very little about this case, as the media can't share much (which is why he wasn't named sooner), but playing with a player in the middle of a serious investigation certainly could have some impact for sure.

It's a pointless tournament on so many levels, and there's been a lot of complaints from clubs participating too. It certainly impacts Bayern's summer, who would have seen Musiala as a regular starter…

City might still have issues, but it seems they can pull big signings up from the hat despite the ongoing investigation and the charges they face. I think we will see a different City team next season.

I'm a bit surprised there hasn't been much transfer news about United. I only follow Arsenal's transfer activity closely obviously, but still. Who are likely to sign for the club this summer, you think?

Unfortunately football is all about money and I suspect it will get worse regarding too many games, the next thing will be Premier league games being played in USA for ridiculous amounts of cash. You can see why some clubs namely city and Liverpool are building super squads, the rest of the prem, will try to keep up if they can.

PSG tearing Real Madrid to pieces in semi final of CWC, 2 up after 8 minutes.

Ironic Real looked incredible just over a year ago until they signed Mbappe, PSG been phenomenal since they sold Mbappe.

Wow 3 = 0 brilliant counter attack by PSG. Real's defense was nowhere.

Alonso would not have wanted this as his bedding in period at Real, ok financially no one really loses at this stage.

    4 - 0

Chelsea will defend better than real that's for sure in the final.

Indeed, it's certainly heading in the wrong direction.

Only saw clips from the game, but PSG looked so good. What a team they are right now!
