I have two free transfers as totally forgot last GW and did nothing to my team, my FPL season mirrors United's atrocious season. I have become apathetic toward football, I am very happy the World Cup is a year away, I need a break from football.

After Arsenal failing to keep up with Liverpool, I've been more than ready for a break too. Even from FPL! I will be playing the Norwegian and the Swedish fantasy games during the PL break, and as soon as the game is launched for the 2025/26 season, I will spend a lot of times on making drafts.

This summer will be huge for several teams. A lot of work will be dome in board rooms in the coming months.

Don't forget the "World Cup" next month..........
The FIFA Club World Cup is starting in mid June.

Has Zubimendi signed yet ? Do you want/need another mid ?

Yes! Imagine quite a few teams will do business before the Club World Cup too.

No news re. Zubimendi lately, although what is said, is that he's close to joining. I really hope he's that missing piece in midfield.
Desperately need another midfielder in my opinion, but a creative/advanced one to try replicate the dual threat Xhaka had. Zubimendi is used to playing deeper but then again so was Xhaka so I'm lightly optimistic for his signing. More importantly though is a striker and a left winger.

Indeed, I don't have high hopes for Arsenal if they don't get their striker and left winger. Crucial business.
I remembered to change my team, as I still have TNT subscription will watch United get beat by Villa later.

Still deciding on my moves. Will be watching Arsenal obviously, but am tempted to have a separate stream up with other matches.

    _________

Here are the gameweek 38 captaincy picks!
    Salah: 7
    Isak: 2
    Saka: 1
    Mitoma: 1
    Maddison: 1
    Mbuemo: I1
    Haaland: 1
    Wissa: 1
    Marmoush: 1
    Cunha: 1

In the final gameweek of the season, seven managers are looking to Salah to bring them the last push in the rankings, followed by Isak, who is captained by two managers. These two are the only players backed by more than one manager. Good luck everyone!

Typical first ten minutes United completely dominant Villa can't get the ball.

I forgot we go on tour end of season to pick up a few millions.
Just noticed Saka doesn't start. There goes my hopes in the money league I'm in!

Not checked my team will wait until full time, I forgot who my captain is 😂

Heaven is going to be a star, Heaven and Yoro the future is bright in defence.

How has United not scored there, Maguire turned into Messi again.

United playing some good football, you really have to question the application of the players when they can play like this.

Would imagine Villa would show up against United. Looks like they didn't based on what you write here!

Red card Martinez totally took Rasmus out.

That was crazy, apparently he may leave also.

    Rasmus scores... Offside 😂

Villa in trouble Chelsea scored so my Forest double defence backfired.

How many chances does United want, we are terrible on final third at converting opportunities.

Villa will nick a goal on the counter at this rate and punish us.

Villa up to fifth if they can hold on.

My FPL team probably is very low in points. All the games going against me.

Haven't seen many teams doing great – except my money league rivals, all of whom have Bowen in their teams…

Controversy Villa scored from a Bayinder miss hap... VAR...

That's a goal IMO, no foul. Typical.

Ref blew whistle early so no goal.

    Villa robbed there.

Amad goal, major controversy. Great goal though Villa goal should have stood will cost them big time.

You're still looking to win our mini-league, I think, congratulations on that!

Penalty to United, Amad fouled chasing a superb Casimiro long ball.

Eriksen been told to take it by the manager.

    Goal nice gesture.

Half expecting another of the owner's on field meltdowns at the City Ground should Forest lose ....

Grealish didn't even make the bench for Guardiola, expect he'll be off in the summer.

Wonder if Nuno Espírito Santo is still the Forest manager when we start next season… Still a great season by them, even though they missed out on CL.

Haven't been able to contribute as much as I have wanted to, this season. Life has been a bit busy. I hope to write a nice end of the season write-up within the next few days.

Thanks everyone for playing! FPL is a lot of fun, but it's much more so when you havea competitive league to compete with!

It's been a strange season, after a break I will be fired up and more enthusiastic for next season for sure.

Just checked my ranking and surprised I am within the top 1 million, 731'567 ranking way better than I was expecting.

Cunha to Man United reported to be a done deal that is a step in the right direction. I am still not convinced Amorim tactics will work in the Prem, he appears to be staying so I I will back him for now, he has to impress those first five to ten games of next season (if its more of the same he is gone).

Congratulations to Dinamo Skruknott you had a good final quarter of the season and made ground up to win the mini league. =D> <:-P

Garnacho told to find new club ....

Florian Wirtz to Liverpool .... maybe. For an eye-watering $125,000,000, apparently.

My own FPL season was generally poor. Too many high risk moves didn't pay off, especially in the last few GWs. I also held onto Man City assets for far too long earlier in the season. Was late to join the Salah bandwagon and largely missed out on Forest defenders when they were doing so well ....

Watching Man United vs All Stars in Malaysia. I must be a mug I subscribed to MUTV for the year after an atrocious season. This tour at least will be a good opportunity to have a look at someof the younger players pushing for the first team.

Cunha will be a massive signing for United. A proven goalscorer who I admit would have liked to see at Arsenal…

I had a good end to the season. I managed to close quite a big gap in the money league I'm in too – but it wasn't enough to catch up with those ahead.

I think this describes the first half of the season for me too. I missed out on a lot of points from Forest players especially.

Terrible indeed. Haven't followed the news that closely after what happened, but I hopw whoever was behind this is looking at a long stretch behind bars.

How many first team players are with the touring squad? A bit surprised to see them on the road just after the season has ended.

And that's it – the 2024/25 season is all over! Congratulations to our Liverpool fans, who must be really happy with how this season turned out! And what an FPL season it was, as well. I don't think I can remember an FPL season this unpredictable and challenging, so it's fun to see that our league overall did well.

First, let's have a look at gameweek 38. With an average score of 46 points, this was an average gameweek points wise. As we might have expected, the final gameweek of the season always gives us some surprises, so points are likely to wary. With Bowen and Salah delivering the points, our gameweek winner AC Miami can be really happy with a score of 76 points. Congratulations! =D>

The cup haven't gotten much attention in this thread, but we do have one! Starting in gameweek 34, our managers have gone head-to-head leading up to the final gameweek. Let's congratulate our 2024-25 cup winner Mejico POWA with a great cup run! =D>

And finally – a late effort to make ground in mini leagues, gave Dina Skruknott the points needed to take home the 2024/25 FPL title. Congratulations! =D>

    __________

I like to thank everyone for playing another season of FPL, competing in our very own league. I hope to see everyone back again in August, when the 2025/26 season of PL kicks off! In the meantime I will try to keep an eye on when the game is released for the upcoming season – which I expect will be released quite soon.

Enjoy the break, and enjoy the summer!

@Torgeirtrap thankfully we beat Hong Kong Obi had a brace and was quality, at 17 made Rasmus look bad. Obi has great positional sense and reflex, Rasmus is very cumbersome.

Cuhna close signing for United, deal agreed according to reports. A very good player very happy.

The Bruno situation should be resolved soon, £100 million for a 31 year old I would take it.
