No one is. Tom Cruise is the last living movie star.
I know. I mean, as famous as Scarlett Johansson or someone like her.
I think she'll be A-list pretty soon. She's very good.

Kind of interesting in a way that the M:I theme was associated with physical feats like that, because I wouldn't say the TV show was about that sort of thing much, and yet the film series has arguably been modelled on that squirrel quite a bit! :D
Maybe it's just the phrase 'Mission Impossible' evokes that impression, and the music does too.
Scarlett Johansson is boring. And MAJORITY overexposed. She doesn’t have many facial expressions. Plus, she’s said and done A LOT of things that should have gotten herself canceled. Someone fresh, please.
Yeah. Pugh is a very good actress. Apart from her recent roles, I would never forget her performance in Lady Macbeth. Such a nuance and mature performance for her young age. Really good performance.
Tom Cruise is the face of Scientology.
MI doesn't need someone fresh. It need a star.
It doesn't have to be Scarlet, but it does have to be one from the A list.
Of course not. I'm not even convinced this is the end for Tom, I think there's a good chance that the 'one last time', 'Final' stuff has been played up in the marketing because Part One didn't do as well as hoped, and if you make it seem like the big finale then I guess they're hoping to make more people turn up.
I'm really curious what Cruise's ultimate endgame for his career is. I agree in that I don't think this is necessarily his last MI movie. I'm not sure he'd come back in the boss or boss as traitor role though... but Ethan was already a teacher in III, so maybe he's willing to play that role again. There were those reports he was going to play an alternate reality superhero in a Marvel movie, but it didn't pan out, so I think he's starting to think about what "taking the backseat" looks like for him.
He is making the most of his “Action “ years; they will not go on forever. He will return to performance based roles and will do some remarkable work.
I've been having a listen to the Balfe scores: his style doesn't fully do it for me but I must admit when they're good, they're good. Stuff like his love theme from Fallout or Chasing Grace from Dead Reckon are both cracking pieces.
Wow that is a good theme rendition. It sounds like a hornet is angry. That sting at 20 seconds in is nice.
True. Very Balfe-esque as expected. I like it. Aaah! Yeah, Chasing Grace is just a listening delight...almost Barry-esque at times.
The new sound louder and closer to Mi5.
My opinion is that soundmix in MI6 is better then in Mi5, but story and some of Music i like more with Mi5 and Mi7. With 7th movie the titles going to fast when i watched it on tv then on youtube.
