My best guess would be that she's connected to the "double" that Bond kills or the man who's about to undergo the surgery to be the next lookalike. The real Blofeld is hiding out in the penthouse of the Whyte House.

Marie had no official connection to Mr Fez or Blofeld - she just liked to keep abreast of things.

She had to get something off her chest...

While it may come as a surprise to some, it’s actually no wonder Marie knew where Blofeld was. Marie was Blofeld. After his volcano lair fiasco, the criminal mastermind realized the need of a cunning disguise as he had arrogantly revealed his face to his archenemy. Unfortunately, his first attempts were deemed unsatisfactory.

Instead, Blofeld underwent extensive surgical procedures to present himself as Marie, in an elaborate scheme involving several false leads to throw Bond off track. Ever noticed how ”Marie’s” information doesn’t really lead Bond to Blofeld? All by design. In fact, Bond fell so hard for the deciet that he unquestioningly killed his supposed target in the mud transformation clinic, not letting the fact that the alledged Blofeld suddenly looked rather like his late contact Henderson get in his way. And to celebrate his successful plan Marie-Blofeld then took on further surgery to look like Henderson himself, reasoning that as Bond had already killed that threat, he surely woudn’t suspect a thing should their paths ever cross again.

Yes. That’s about it. And that On Her Majesty’s Secret Service business never really happened, did it?

Move ahead a film and lets focus on LALD.

At the start of the movie we see Agent Hamilton die while watching a Filet of Soul Restaurant in New Orleans. The killing is covered up with an elaborate funeral.

Further into the film we see Harold Strutter staking out the same Filet of Soul Restaurant. The same small man approaches and then the scene cuts to Bond and Leiter getting out of a car. Leiter remarks "hell of a send off". We never see Strutter again in the film. Did Strutter indeed die staking out the restaurant?

Part of me thinks that Strutter did indeed live. I build it up in my mind that he somehow evaded the knife plunge and walked away. However his death or narrow escape is up in the air. I guess I am an eternal optimist!

What is your theory did Harold Strutter die in New Orleans?

To jog your memory here is the scene. If he did die why not show it? Why leave it to the audience to determine if he lived or perished.

Probably dead, and that stands to reason : each Bond movie has at least one sacrificial lamb, and it was Strutter's turn this time. Given that we had seen how one of the three british agents had met their demise, in the case of Strutter, there was no need for us to see the stab, or the subsequent cover-up.

Felix returns to his table and asks where his friend is (Bond) rather than telling the waiter that there was no one on the phone, suggesting either the writing threw us for a loop and Strutter is indeed still alive, or someone probably imitated him on the phone. What I wanna know is what the waiter said to Felix after asking where Bond went.

I had forgotten about this scene @QBranch

I wonder if this is why I was so optimistic that Strutter had survived?!

It does beg more questions, who was on the phone for Felix? Why is Felix more curious about James and less about either the call or the pretense for the call.

Not dead, Strutter simply had to move on to his side hustle as a singer in an assumed name.

And so not able to justify his choice of priorities (alongside the deaths of fellow agents and disappearance of 007), he took on still another career change that got him out of the crosshairs. Luck wasn't with him on that, either.

Hmmm, Strutter in space? Might be worthy of an Amazon spin-off!

Lets jump forward in time to the Craig era. For the first time ever a Bond movie was a direct sequel. The producers told us that QOS occurs mere minutes after CR. Bond is whisking away with Mr. White in his Aston. But he has got company as a few cars chase him through the tunnels and roadways. Eventually the police are roped in too. A chaotic chase follows.

But have we ever thought, where did all these cars come from? Obviously Quantum had people everywhere, but how did they get wise to Bond whisking away White?

What is your theory on how Quantum chased Bond at the start of QOS?

As we can see at the end of CR, White appears to be alone. Although the house is large not a soul is on the grounds, and no one greets him. Bond coldly and methodically shoots White. Bond seems to know that no one is around. He walks slowly up the steps and with much flair states "Bond James Bond."

So how is it that mere minutes later he's being chased by multiple cars? How was Quantum alerted to the kidnapping of Mr. White?

Would love to hear your theories on this. Bonus points if you can explain how Bond changes from three piece suit to a two piece suit. LOL!

Get same injection/tracker as Bond get. Later we found out that there have people everywhere and earlier Mr White him self told in CR is that trust is more inportent then money.

Spectre and NTTD proofs that you must know the future first before you understand the past. Whyle there already give hint in QOS so mabey can know if earlier that Felix going to die. Predict M her death with QOS and when see died then see her death coming hint in Casino Royale too. This same hint also telling us Bond going to die, but possible don't see it before it happend or before the Michael Jackson hint in NTTD.

I strongly believe the answer to this question, is because Quantum have people everywhere :D

Bond got him in the trunk of his car, then drove off. A few minutes later at the most, the people in the house, all Quantum mercenaries, noticed White's absence and ran after Bond. Of course they were not all in the house by Lake Como, but they had a number of bases of operation/safe houses nearby.
