I'm not a gamer but I very much enjoy that kind of insight into development of Bond products, @DeerAtTheGates, appreciated.

@Risico007, I've experienced my own issues with spell-correct and my own misspellings and of course I know what you meant. Still, your post leaves me with an image that lingers and gives me pause.

Thank you for the compliments, @mtm and @RichardTheBruce! Glad to have contributed something interesting!

As a small epilogue to my post: James Bond is still considered an active licence, as shown by this LEGO blog post. Which means that future Bond LEGO can get made easily, if all parties agree on what exactly.

Hope they'll do a No Time To Die DB5. Maybe with a few improvements on the design over the current DB5. Not that the current Lego DB5 is particularly bad in the first place..

I picked up the Speed Champions DB5 this morning, for £18.

  • Okay I just have to order that! I’ve dreamed of a Lego James Bond toy line back when I was 10 and heavily into Lego. Glad to see this wish finally coming true!

These are awesome... I want them all.

The only shirt I recognized was Han Solo's shirt on Roger. ;)

@MI6HQ, where did you find that image at? I love the clever creativity of capturing each film in a Bond style piece. My love of Bond's sartorial history endears me to that kind of thing.

EDIT: Never mind, I did find a reddit link with this picture. The only thing I wonder is why they gave Sean black hair. Maybe couldn't find a fitting hair piece in brown?

Oh that's excellent! I designed a LTK mini for a friend and that's pretty much what I went for.

@Agent_99, that's cool. There's a lot of cool sets they could release, capturing little "moments" in Bond movies. A DN set with Bond, Quarrel, Honey and No baddies in hazmat with all the pieces to build the fire-breathing "dragon" of Crab Key, a FRWL set with Bond wielding a sniper rifle alongside Tatiana and a mini Lektor Decoder with parts to make the SPECTRE helicopter, etc.

I love the idea of having enough LEGO pieces with characters in scuba gear to recreate the final fight of TB, then putting all the pieces inside an actual fish tank! I kind of love that.

There's this - as a modeller, I am in awe:

And wow, yes, a whole series of Bond sets would be amazing - the DN dragon would work really well, I think!

Love the new Lego DB5. A very quick and fun build. Funny how this one looks better than the bigger Creator DB5..

Agree with you 100%. The pieces used to achieve the curvature along the sides are the exact same pieces used on the larger model, so it's no wonder the larger one comes off as blockier. The sloping hood, the licence plates, all come together to make the larger model look a bit daft, but I still love them both.
Check out www.brickarms.com if you want a good silenced PPK for your Lego Bond for like $0.50.

Not sure if this will be interesting to anybody, but with a few new Indiana Jones Lego sets coming out, we will have Sean Connery and Jonathan Rhys Davies figures to with our Bonds :)
