Total shot in the dark, but does anyone here subscribe to this film magazine?

Definitely not Bond-related, but what are everyone's thoughts on the David Lynch Dune film? I read the book before watching it and honestly it wasn't as bad as I heard. A bit rushed, but I think they captured some of the good elements of the book

I'm actually quite a fan of it, but I'm definitely in the vast minority, Lynch included.

Just back from seeing Candyman and the new NTTD trailer was attached.
It’s just the old Super Bowl tv spot but with September 30th listed as the date instead of April. I’m so desensitised to that 14 month old footage that it really didn’t get my pulse racing seeing it again.

Loved the new snippet of the Bond theme they released, see soundtrack thread for link. Good to hear the guitar riff, finally.

The Super Bowl trailer was 30 sec long. The new trailer it’s gonna be 1 minute long, as far ad I know, just like SP final trailer.

Supposedly a new trailer is being released next week. 2:33 long.

The new trailer is meant to be 2min 33 seconds according to its rating.

There's also meant to be a 30 second spot about Nomi and Paloma.

    Which country?

Because the new final trailer hasn't been released yet

That's been playing here in the UK since F9, saw it at pretty much every screening I've been to.

The new 2:33 'Trailer M' has currently only been rated in Canada and I suspect will only hit cinemas with Shang Chi next week

Just wondering if anyone else noticed some similarity between NTTD's supposed plot and that of the 2003 Connery film T

Softer, not quite as "twangy" as recent versions. Love it!

Right!? Yes, less twangy but does have quite a bit of reverb and jangle to it. I can’t wait to see what else Marr did for the rest of the soundtrack.

UK. I was hoping for new footage, but sadly that was not the case.

Regarding that poster at the toilet -- it reminds me of an advertising tagline for OHMSS:
FAR UP ! FAR OUT ! FAR MORE !
    This one could be:
Look up ! Look down ! Look out !

    So the Thunderball tagline? Lol

No wonder it seemed familiar. I recalled it from the wrong film, looked up OHMSS tagline and quoted it. Doh ! Anywhooooo, it seems about right for that toilet poster...

Your note went out before your finished typing, methinks. Did you mean to compare the plot -- as understood to be -- for NTTD with 2003's The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen ? a/k/a The Film Which Got Sean Connery to Quit Screen Acting ? Of course, that does not make it sound like a film anyone would want to see. By the way -- I enjoy TLOEG...is it OK to refer to the film ONLY by its initials ? It is not a Bond film, but it does have Sean Connery in it. Hmmm...so should be we refer to WOS, M, TU, TH, TO, FF, E, TA, TR, FK, JC, RS, MM, H, TRH, THFRO, IJATLC, TP, TNOTR, WIR, TB, O, C, M (uh oh...another "M"), TGTR, ABTF, RAM, TMWWBK, TWATL, MOTOE, Z, TAT, TMM, TRT, S, AFM, TLD (no, NOT T Dalton's first Bond film), DOATLP (or would that be DO'GATLP ?), ATAP, and so on ? Hmm...I think not.

Someone mentioned that Safin is of Japanese and Russian descent. I remember one factor of the Boyle treatment was the villain being Russian. Perhaps there's a connection there

Maybe Danny Boyle will get a special thanks in the credits.
