    Well you're dirty and sweet
Clad in black, don't look back, and I love you

@007InAction, great video post! One of the best rock songs of all time. I got into T. Rex a few years ago and got several of their albums. Their sound was so influential, and Marc's voice was perfect for the style. The song 20th Century Boy, I actually first heard the punk version by Siouxsie and the Banshees and later heard T. Rex's original.

007InAction, more great vids! I especially like Jeepster. I see you may be from Australia so I wondered if you know of The Saints; I have a few of their CDs, not that they're glam rock. I thought of posting Joan Jett Do You Wanna Touch Me There? but seeing as there's a new thread on John Taylor...

The Saints was a punk rock group that started in Brisbane. Their first single "(I'm) Stranded" came out in September 1976 (it's also on their first album) and became the first punk single, just edging out records that came out a month or two later by Sex Pistols, The Damned, and the Clash. Though some say the roots of punk began in the '60s, possibly even the late '50s.
