    To be honest when it started I was paying attention to the orchestra but after a while I just watched the screen and it was only a few times I had to remind myself it was actually a live score playing as it felt so close to the original score on the soundtrack of the film.

    Yes I wish they'd do a Barry score live at some point. On Her Madge probably would be high on the list, but I'd like a lush one like Moonraker. I expect they'd probably do Goldfinger, and although that's great I think there are other scores I'd like to see performed more; but they sort of seem to choose them based on the film more than the score. Reasonable I suppose: Skyfall and Casino Royale are pretty popular recent hits.

    Of all these in concerts OHMSS would be my dream one, can't understand why they couldn't even do a ltd run of just a reissue of OHMSS at the cinema, although 50th of the film they really should have done the in concert.

    I imagine GF would be the one they'd expect to get the most interest due to it's reputation outside the fan base being the quintessential Bond film.

    Not that I would balk at them doing it but my preference would be OHMSS because it is the pinnacle of Barry's Bond scoring and my all time favourite score and in my top ten favourite albums of all time.

    Yeah I completely agree there: OHMSS would probably be the one I'd pick too (even if I'm sure the moog bit would be awful! :) ).
    But I reckon if it's not a Craig film then they'd go for a Connery; possibly a Brosnan if it means Arnold turns up in person.
    I'm seeing Superman at the Albert Hall at some point this year; fingers crossed they go for an older Bond at some point. Surprisingly they haven't done a Star Wars yet as far as I know; presumably Disney are working out what to do with that.

    I listened to 1917 today in my car. It's a work of beauty. It's up there with Road To Perdition.

    I don't think it has been so far. I don't know how you chase an Oscar with a Bond song. The only way to do that is to make a really good song.

    Yeah, I don't necessarily need the song winning an Oscar....I just need a song that can be enjoyable for several months. I think a Good Bond score & song, can keep a fan occupied for a lengthy period....until talks of the next installment gets underway.

    Same. Honestly, I'm ok with anyone as long as it is not Ed Sheeran or Adele, though Arctic Monkeys would have been my top choice.

    I like her sound. Haunting, emotional, and real.

    From a marketing perspective this would be a massive win in terms of audience demographics. Bond skews older but her popularity with teenagers is skyrocketing right now. Particularly if she wins a Grammy (or two) next week.

    I was hoping for an Adele return, but this makes a lot of sense. Can't wait to hear it!

    Lots of people love her so it's not for me to say she can't do something interesting. She certainly seems a bit more real than most of the pop people.

    She’s not my first choice, or even in my top 20+ , but I can see the potential.
    Having a 22 year old daughter, I’ve heard quite a bit of Eillish’s music; while I find it interesting, it falls into the “ I get tired of it very quickly “ category, and tends to be overly ethereal and “emo”. Her vocals aren’t bad but seem gimmicky and are generally depressive.
    Hopefully her negative tendencies can be reigned in and her positive qualities can be used to craft an exciting, fresh Bond title track.

    Slightly odd report: they don't even say if they have sources telling them it- just that they 'understand' she is doing it. Maybe they're right but it's not something I'd print elsewhere! :)

    The article doesn't mention it, but Billie Eillish's record label is under Interscope Records, which is owned by Universal Music Group.

    True, my point being that we may be seeing Universal push an artist under their label like how Sony did.

    Curiously, Sam Smith was under Universal, not Sony.
