Maybe they'll do a Modern Times homage?

As Bond is now wearing braces I guess we can officially rename the film:

    No Time For A Tie

I think this will be a sequence akin to the For Your Eyes only finale...

...and if I'm right, that'd be frickin' awesome :)

They're probably Q issue braces with 5G connectivity, GPS tracking, and they hold up your trousers too!

Wonder if there will be more images in that issue of Empire. Need to get my hands on that.

Well of course that was a joke, plus further set up Q to be put in his place over time and after his pajamas comment. His learning curve. Full-out gadgets were a certainty.

Skyfall has a gadget that belongs to the top five of useless and silly gadgets ever in a Bond film (including the throwaway stuff we can see in the background of films like TSWLM), the PPK with the palm-print reader.
Why would anybody use such a gun? You can't use it with gloves (something they forgot during production and caused them to CGI the hell out of Craig's hands during the Shanghai tower scene). When Craig finally uses it, you can see that it takes approximately one second for identification before the green LED gets lit. I don't know, but that may be a factor in a life or death situation where you have to use the gun. Now, imagine the gun barrel sequence with the customized PPK. Bond has to check the LEDs, waiting, waiting... waiting, checking the LEDs, here comes the beep, now I can aim and shoot.

Of course, as soon as they mentioned this gun, I expected it to fall in the wrong hands, allowing Bond to escape from a very particular situation, and that's exactly what happens, paying tribute to the Roger Moore comedy from the seventies. Which is why I don't mind the scene. But it's still extremely silly.

Great news, hopefully we won't have to wait long too long till they start the real promotion.

Love both pics especially, the first still from the film. It looks like a action shot, reminds of the first still from Skyfall in that it's got me really excited for the movie.

As for the style, Craig it reminds me of Connery in Dr No, (when he's wearing a battered white shirt) at the end of film when Bond has to go through the tunnel, rescuing Honey and the escape from Dr No's lair

I have no problem with the lack of publicity. My only worry is that Craig doesn't leave on a high note. Meaning that his tenure has been one long turn to the dark side, fighting inner demons and so forth, always looking for a way to retire.

Back in the days almost every kid wanted to be Bond. Cool gadgets, lots of women, glamorous - the world at his feet. Not much of that over the last 13 years. Guess it's the sign of the times that every hero has to have an inner struggle going on, so we are suppose to be feel sorry for the character instead.

For Bond 26...can we please have James Bond back?

    Lots of women? check
Glamorous? check, unless a casino & a beautiful gigantic eye don't count
Cool gadgets? more or less check

The only thing I agree on is that they should have never made Blofeld his "foster brother".

Foster Bros. the single worst idea in the entire series! The one thing that will bog down NTTD.

I wished the Blofeld and Bond had no relationship pre-Spectre and Blofeld’s only issue with Bond is that he derailed several of Spectre’s operations.

He did but indeed, it was a bad idea.

But, I hope that one of the many twists that are apparently happening will be that Blofeld lied about it.

@HildebrandRarity, you´re right, I never thought of the issue with the time. I always thought of LTK when Q mentions the identification thing, but in LTK it´s a sniper rifle, so it´s no issue if the palm print reader takes a few seconds.
Hilarious idea with the palmprint ident PPK in the gb sequence! I can see Bond walking, drawing, then a drastic Sergio Leone zoom on the palmprint reader, beep, beep, beep, beeeep, then Bond shoots! :-))

Nothing, but maybe Malek's character has a lizard that can talk? ("hence unlike the world has ever seen")

Who's the classy looking dude on the right? Looks like James Bond to me.

PS: Sorry, had to do it. Still miss that stylish know it all, sharply dressed Bond, but still physically apt to throw a punch Bond. Although I'm a Craig fan as well.

I sure hope David Walliams will get the chance to narrate/present a Bond special (or similar) on TV at some point. It could be hilarious!

Maybe that is what he is doing there? It certainly popped into my mind when I saw this? :-?
Maybe you're on to something there! :-?
Didn’t Jonathan Ross do one for Skyfall or Spectre?

He did one for Spectre, which hilariously enough contained no actual clips from the movie. Just trailer bits.

He did do specials when he hosted the film review show for the BBC. However after the radio scandal he got caught up in, that was the end of that.

And their we have it people! Another Bond movie in the can! So looking forward to seeing this next April! Congratulations and thank you to all involved for giving us another 007 movie!!!! \m/ <:-P :-bd

Everyone wants all these homages and throwbacks to previous bond films in every new bond film.

Let the film create original moments and sequences that we can look back on or become classic moments themselves.

We already had a Dr No type sequence in Spectre. When Bond and Madeline arrive at Oberhausers base their given their own rooms, clothing , an escort with champagne, and a meteorite to marvel at, we don’t need to see it again in NTTD

I think this might be at Lutvann, where they shot the underwater parts for the forest/cabin sequence?

Nice! Haven't seen too many photos from that location. There's been more photos from Langvann in Nittedal.
