    LOL...

Young Swann underwater scenes were already filmed at pinewood.

If you guys saw the clip from Norway you’ll notice the young actress falls through the ice and lands underwater.

The stunt double posted on her story her in a wetsuit rehearsing the scenes at pinewood.

I still have no idea why people are in denial that there’s a Madeleine flashback scene. It’s super obvious now and she doesn’t die in Matera because she has an office scene with an assistant/receptionist.

    Here’s my take.

    Flashback Norway.

    Madeleine wakes up in shock.

We get a bunch of scenes of them like vesper and Bond in CR. Happy and enjoying life.

They get attacked and she gets seriously injured. She doesn’t die but it’s a bad enough situation that bond decides to leave her.

He realizes that he can’t settle down.

It’s not that hard to believe, obviously at some point he has to reach out to her and find her and needs her help.

I think Malek is from her past.

Let’s be real folks, why would bond suddenly jump out of retirement for some random kidnapped scientist? That’s the CIA’s problem. He’s retired and him and Felix are not even BFFS.

Yes Felix was mentioned in “SP”, but did anyone get the vibe that him and bond are even that close? Do they text and hangout? I seriously doubt it.

Very poor storywriting trying to make it seem like Bond and Felix are close friends. Compare it to the previous films like LALD and LTK.

They're not friends, of course, but Felix helped a lot James in CR and QOS. It's logical that James can feel himself hugely in Leiter's debt and when Felix asks for help Bond can consider this as paying back.

Bond also helped Felix out. He let the CIA bring in LC. He also got Felix promoted in QOS.

Definitely another reason why Bond is forced back in. It’s not over some random scientist being kidnapped.

Could we have a new iconic underwater sequence in NO TIME TO DIE? We have intelligence from a source of fellow Australian and friend of JBDU @pauljardineclarke, the creative force behind fan film CHROME (2017) that a Major underwater sequence was filmed in Norway.
We believe this was shot during the Norwegian shoot back in Feb/ March. Shooting at a lake called Lutvannet, east of Oslo. The scenes we saw in the media on the lake, were shot at Langvann.

The sequence is excitingly potentially the first underwater sequence shot in IMAX. We are sure some component of this would have been filmed at Pinewood as per recent Bond film underwater stuntwork, to compliment the on location shoot.

The filming at Lutvann was covered by Norwegian media back then. Lutvann is better for filming underwater, apparently. A few photos below, a video here, and an article here.

    Really, for F%&#? sake ?!?!
    :-O

@GertGettler you cant come into a thread marked 'Minor spoilers' then get upset with what you read.
It's not even a spoiler, merely fan speculation at best.
If you want to avoid spoilers, then I suggest you ignore this thread altogether.

    Didn't someone already establish that...
Bond goes to Jamaica, in seclusion, believing Madeleine is dead, only to learn from Felix that she is not? And that that is the plot point at the end of the first act?

Just speculation as far as I'm concerned.

@Benny Either I am an analphabete or I am dumb, but to me there is quite a big difference between *Minor Spoilers* or *Huge Spoilers*. No reason to call me out for that, if there's no very clear definition to what it means and what examples fall under the words *Minor Spoiler* as opposed to *Big Spoilers*. It would help if you, as a moderator, explain that in greater detail. Because it confuses me.

By the way, what if this so called *Minor fan speculation* about 'this person dying' has at least some truth in it, or if this spoiler would be true at this stage? Even we ordinary fans are on many occasions in the dark about story developments and plot details unfolding on this behind-the-scenes footage (thank God). But let's say if fans in here talk about "this person dies" -which happened here, otherwise I wouldn't be responding- and if in the eventual film Madeleine does die, then that's by no means a small spoiler; it's in hindsight a spoiler of big proportions to me.

You can never know 100% sure at this stage if a spoiler is big (spoiling core plot elements) or merely fan speculation, hence being careful and using more spoiler tags in a topic that is not branded *Warning: Big Spoilers* seems logical? Actually, big spoilers can at the same time be speculative as long as no big (SonyLeaks) script has leaked. Anyway, I will try to avoid this topic a bit more often now.

Well then in hindsight you will have been correct, but for the moment you are in a thread that is essentially built upon speculation based on what clips we are privy too thanks to our compadres. In which case, it's on you. Not anyone else. Per @DarthDimi's opening post, if you don't want anything - small or large - spoiled, it's best to stay well away, possibly in the production thread.

No spoiler tags being used here.

Ok thanks Craig. This can evolve in a gigantic spoiler topic then, without spoiler tags. I will avoid this more often. Thank you for the clarity :-).

Greg Williams should have a photo shoot with Craig and those 10 DB5s. Now that would make History ;)

That would be historial cool. Either way they parked all there for a promo still. If the guy stands in the corner he has a clear view of Matera landscape and part of the streets, houses behind the cars

I was just thinking about the marriage thing again. The main reason I don't want Bond to marry Madeline is because the character movement between these two in Spectre was at an absolute minimum. So, unless there is some really solid character work between them in No Time To Die, which is hard to believe as this is a Bond film, then I don't think that marriage is justified and it will just come off as cheesy and forced.

Cary is so cool I will reserve a judgment on the costumes once I'll see the film.

I've got the very same polo shirt. And the same sunglasses. And pants. Men of good taste, I suppose.
Why can't Bond dress like that?!?

Brilliant pic, btw, hope Greg Williams was on site.

Doesn't seem like Williams is doing the unit stills this time, everything so far released is by Nicola Dove

I've been following the man ever since it was announced he would do Bond 25: https://www.jamesbond.nl/cary-joji-fukunaga-rijzende-ster-wellicht-dankzij-bond/ (Rising star probably thanks to Bond). Cary Joji Fukunaga has a thing for fashion, that's for sure. And he's willing to experiment on certain classical/conservative tropes. He's a trendsetter and reinventer to say the least. Combined with his true no-nonsense approach on set -he works in a very horizontal way, less top-down, and is therefore very approachable- he really brings a new kind of flair on the NTTD-set.
