More than two years ago MI6 Confidential set ourselves a challenge: to track down an array of 007 paraphernalia that never made it to mainstream media and present it for our readers in an 'unseen' edition to our magazine. Today we proudly present the first, but perhaps not last, 'Unseen' issue, and it features some rarely viewed artwork, along with detailed analysis and history.

We touch on all facets of the Bond franchise, from the concepts and backstory to the Licence Revoked marketing campaign, through script drafts unearthed from the Brosnan era and an array of cut scenes and might-have-beens spanning Bond’s 50 years, to the unmade Bond 17 scheduled to star Timothy Dalton. We even had time to chat to author Steve Cole, who teases his yet unseen 'Shoot To Kill'.

I've just read through the first few articles last night. Its a great read so far. Interesting how parts of some scripts make it into different films. Also, you'll find out how great of a love story they originally had in CR. Possibly the one film worth a 3 hour screen time.

Issue 26 is another success. I don't know what I like most: the images or the articles. And for once it's not unsafe for one's reputation to say that. ;-)

Maybe it'll have more pictures or something of Mr. White's death from QoS.

Can anyone post the gist of some of the cut scenes?

yes please, what were the juicy bits in scenes and scripts that we missed out on?

I think you'll just have to hold out for a reprint, or perhaps give some members who have ordered time to read through before posting.

I'll tease you with the fact that the Q-Branch scene in Goldfinger was much longer, and the final cut of the film only features the tail end of the scene that was shot. In the film, you can see a red van and various other gadgets in the background that were originally elaborated on. Certain parts of this scene can be found in the opening titles in the projections on the gold woman's body.
