Orphan Black Season 2
Any fans of this great surprise hit from last year have any comments on the new season 2?
I loved the show but this new second seasons seems somewhat more violent and yes, darker. we were treated to violent murders and deaths in the first series but for some reason the new season seems to come off as being somewhat...gratuitous in the violence department. Anyone else feel this way or is i just me?
Also what of the Chinese Connection? In season one there was some hints of Chinese involvement. A Chinese guy killed Olivier (but there's no mention of his death in season two--WTH?) Now the emphasis is on these shitkickers, religious freaks. Did the production teams get cold feet and not want to offend the Chinese market? I dunno.
I don't think the show has gone off the rails yet, but it could be edging closer to that abyss...
