Have the scenes on the Trade Federation ships been slightly recolored? They look a little different to me.

I did. All I got was a message saying that 20th Century Fox took the video down. I got the same message when I looked for the video on YouTube, as well.

Try again maybe. It works for me and hasn't been taken down.

Just gimme the general gist of it: does it show off anything that the trailer CoH_GHOST_007 uploaded doesn't?

No, it's the same one. That's the only trailer for the film. Plus YouTube is better for video uploads anyway.

Okay. That's all I needed to know. Well, actually, am I right about the slight recoloring of the Trade Federation ship interiors?

I'm not sure. If you have the Blu-ray set of the films, you could tell as they're the prints used for this 3D release I believe.

I wonder how much money this will take at the Box Office?

Y'know, people'll bitch about the Prequels all they want, but when it comes right down to it: Star Wars is Star Wars, and people will ALWAYS go see it in theaters.

    EDIT: Oh, and no, I don't own the Blu-rays. I don't have a Blu-ray player :-S .

I hope this one does enough business so we can have the original a few years down the line.

Yeah. Even if I watch it in one of those select 2D theaters, I'd love to see A New Hope in theaters.

I saw the trailer for the 3D Star Wars movie before the main feature "Raiders of the Lost Ark". And I know that I will be seeing that movie in February 2011 together with my daugthers and we'll be enjoying ourselves.

I'll probably be going to the 2D screening, so long as we get the 2D (or even the 3D) screening in my town in Indiana. I'd rather get the 2D, because I'd rather not pay almost $30 for one sitting.

    The first one is coolest.
  • The logo is terrible!
Most of these posters are pretty bad too, the second from the top is prety good though.

With the exception of the crappy "3D" added to the bottom, it's the same logo the movie premiered with back in '99.

    - I'm sure the 'Star Wars' logo was much smaller, and more to the left, with 'Episode I' standing out much more. But this logo is still bad.
  • Is the movie showing only in 3D? My mom is taking me...the only reason we're not going to see it in 3D is because my baby sister's going along, and she won't have the glasses on her face 5 seconds, then she'll knock them off. Lol.

You have to give it to George. He has the world by the balls and even though people bash him till they're blue in the face they'll still hand over their cash. Lucas is a freaking Jedi and he's waved his hand to the world, telling us all every year for the next 6 years we're forking over our cash into his back pocket. Lol genius.

Here's my review of the film:
While I understand that post conversion 3D isn't and couldn't possibly be as good as 3D that was actually shot using the proper equipment, I had originally hoped that Lucas would surprise us. Little did I know at the time that TPM 3D would be a dud. There's literally no 3D in this edition, with the exception of a few hardly exciting, dull and predictable moments. If this is an example of what's coming in the future, I'm angry. Never have I been so underwhelmed as with this film. I love SW. I'm a huge SW fan. And all I can say is: SW in 3D, while my hopes had been high, is a huge disappointment.

The last of those posters, the one with Maul, is utterly horrible.
