Verdict on Carte Blanche
Jeffrrey Deaver is a bloody good writer, his Garden of Weapons, Lincoln Rhyme stories are top of their class but Carte Blanche?
This was a Bond?
I have just read it for the second time trying to make sence of it. Reboots can work, look at the Star Trek cinema franchise of the BBC Sherlock Holmes but Carte Blanche?
It is a good novel but as a Bond? I am sorry but, don't ask me what it is but there is something in this novel that makes me think this is NOT Bond.
Sebastian Faulkes' Devil May Care WAS Bond but this?
