Why are the new books all e=readers and not proper books?

I have read about the publication of the latest part of Ian Flemings wartime career 'The Ian Fleming Files: Operation Armada" but I will not be able to read it.
Why?
I like to read a book as a book and not as a program on a computer screen so why are all these superb sounding stories not available for publication on paper but only as downloads for e-readers?

I can't exactly see why this is in "News", but...

Ebooks are the future of reading. They cost no money to publish, and can reach a wide audience. Ebook readers are available for PCs, tablets, smart phones... not to mention their own devices. Cuts down on paper being used for books, clears off shelves, and robs people like you and I of the joy of having a book in our hands.
