Despite having starred in 43 films, Brosnan says he’s proud of this project.

“It was a joy to film in Sorrento and make a piece which has a complexity that is pretty sophisticated compared to other fare,” he explains.

“I think it’s warm and an embracing film. It has relevance, a healing quality and is a celebration of love, courage, strength and new beginnings.”

Of course, Bond will always be his most “significant” role. Brosnan played the iconic MI6 agent for seven years, featuring in four films.

“That was, without a question, one of the most rewarding roles.

“That character, and the opportunities it gave one, is the gift that keeps giving, because once you’re a Bond, you’re a Bond for life,” he says.

Despite earlier comments that he was disappointed about not making a fifth film, he has only compliments for current Bond star Daniel Craig. “Daniel is doing superbly well: a Bond for the day and the season,” he says.

It's very nice of him to give compliments on Dan's performance. He's been a lot more sour before. It's good to see he's giving that a rest. And of course he's right. Even Lazers is still, above all else, James Bond.

Great to see Brosnan speak well of Bond and Craig. He spent a long time being sour over the franchise and EoN.

Although he never spoke badly about Craig, I always have the feeling there is a lot of mutual respect between the two men. Brosnan seems to be a genuinely nice guy, always nice to hear from him.

Well Craig turned to Brosnan for advice before he started shooting Casino Royale.
Brosnan himself said though for a long time that he hasn't watched any of Craigs films before SF.

Holding grudges is the biggest waste of time ever conceived and I think Brosnan knows this. It's been 11 years since DAD, the man is getting on in years. Why waste time dispensing negative energy that ultimately serves no purpose? Brosnan has his wealth, his health and his family. He has a lot to be grateful for, especially to Bond which he acknowledges and the man is simply going about his business. He's a stand up guy.

Brosnan has never said anything negative about Craig or his Bondmovies, his beef was originaly with EON whom he felt could have been better when they decided to cut him from the franchise he had served for them very well.
That is between him and EON, and we as fans have not enough insight to really know what happened, which does not stop us from having an opinion about it.

Brosnan has always been a very decent bloke and deserves more credit than he ever has gotten.

Pierce is a beautiful man, a man of great faith.
    Here are his views:

As an adult, Brosnan has continued to carry on his Catholic heritage and considers himself a man of great faith. The loss of his wife of 17 years to cancer, among other trials, says Brosnan, were only manageable due to his faith in God and his church:

[Prayer] helped me with the loss of my wife to cancer and with a child who had fallen on tough times. Now prayer helps me to be a father, to be an actor and to be a man.2

However, despite being a faithful Catholic, other religious belief systems appeal to him, and he seems the open-minded sort. While acknowledging the centrality of Catholicism, Brosnan throws a bone to Buddhism:

I was an altar boy. That never leaves you. So when there are churches around, I go to church. I just went yesterday. I also love the teachings of Buddhist philosophy. It’s my own private faith. I don’t preach it, but it’s a faith that is a comfort to me when the night is long.3

This is why he remains so faithful to Keely and young Brendan.
And this is why he bears no ill towards Danny Craig.
A great man and yes you can see it in his incredible lust for life.
He's out there kayaking and running everyday.

Pierce Brosnan is a great man! And he is right. Once you play James Bond, you are always remembered as James Bond. Pierce Brosnan is my favourite James Bond in the franchise. He was commeted to the role of James Bond. And Pierce has given all the praise for Daniel Craig's performance as James Bond. Pierce Brosnan has never said anything negative about Daniel Craig.
