Ian Fleming's life story in film
I have just read the news about the mini series of Ian Fleming's life story. I just hope it is better than than 'Age of Heroes'.
I wasted the purchase cost watched the dvd of this and, while it is an excellent (stand alone) world war 2 film, as Ian Fleming's liofe story, it is pure s###e.
According to the many autobiographies published, the mission to Norway was successful with minimum loss of life (including one member who ended up with a female inmate of a local "house of repute???" (according to the biogs.)), not what turned out to be a multi person suicide mission.
If film makers are going to make films of Mr Fleming's wartime experiences, what about accuracy as apposed to showbiz entertainment???
