Michael Winner has died aged 77

not a big fan of his work or personality but he was a character and made a few good movies which not a lot people can say.

Very sad news. It's a little known fact that Michael Winner directed a film version of Bond author John Gardner's novel A Complete State of Death (1969). It was entitled The Stone Killer (1973) and starred Charles Brosnan as Lt. Lou Torrey, called Derek Torry in the book.

Remember an interview he gave about how rejected the chance to direct a Bond film! He said i must have been mad?!!! Lol!
