Elvis's last great triumph , 1.5 billion viewers......if there ever was a use for the term "epic win" this'd be it ;)

    Elvis was a great entertainer - I prefer his 1970's albums and white suits. He was so incredibly popular and succesful that even now I can't understand what was wrong with the Guy doing himself in with drugs. It makes no sense.I have quite a lot of his albums and movies and his singing still moves me today. I read recently that Elvis has the record for most British number ones - and I thought it was The Beatles. Regarding Elvis and the Beatles , it really annoys me when Disc jockeys say Elvis made 'rubbish' movies. Whatever the scripts were like Elvis COULD act ( a natural talent) whereas The Beatles had NO acting talent whatever, in their films they look like complete prats, Their waxwork Tussauds dummies could do a better job ( and yet they never get criticised). I am a fan of the 'Fabs' songs but deplore their acting.
