Damages

I really like this show. Seasons 1-3 were on FX but then it was cancelled and has been picked up by Direct TV. Since I do not get Direct TV I have had to wait until Season 4 came out on DVD. I finally got it and have only watched the first 4 episodes.
I thought Season 3 was something of a letdown. FX felt that despite the fact the show is critically acclaimed, the ratings did not justify the budget, so they pulled the plug. Thanks to Direct TV for coming to the rescue.

So far from the first four episodes of season 4 I can say so far so good. There's more nudity and plenty of "F" bombs now.
John Goodman plays the owner of a security company loosely based on that infamous security company we had in Iraq called Blackwater. Glenn Close and Rose Byrne are taking him on. Very promising and so far much better than season 3 however judging from the first four episodes the show is much much darker and more violent.
I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the season.
