    Well done @CharmianBond you've got it, it's everyone's favourite double-0 daughter. 🙌

    1. I begin by breaking the cardinal rule - Madeleine tells her ‘if you hear anything, hide’ and yet when Bond arrives at her home she sits on the stairs watching
    2. The doctor won’t be seeing me now - Bond prepares an apple for her to eat, an apple a day keeps the doctor away!
    3. My future's up in smoke! - Skyfall, as the ancestral family home, would have been hers after Bond’s death, but there’s not much left to inherit
    4. I need help getting my message across - subtitles were used for Mathilde’s dialogue (at least in UK cinemas)
    5. I’m heard before I’m seen - see clue 1
    6. Just one more second and I could have made Santa's nice list! - in Safin’s poison garden she’s seconds away from touching a flower that makes you never misbehave
    7. Odds are there are more of us if you look hard enough - considering how many women Bond’s bedded over the years it would be surprising if Mathilde was the only child
    8. I have one, then two, then one again from Mathilde’s perspective, she has one parent, then two when Bond arrives, and then one again when he dies
    9. Picture clue white stars on a blue background - Mathilde wears a blue top with white stars in the closing shot of the movie
    10. Look up! Merry Christmas 007! - Safin refers to her as an angel, Bond looks up at the angel on Blofeld’s tree as he wakes just before Blofeld says those festive words in OHMSS
    11. You see me wearing something we've only seen Bond wear once in a Bond film - dungarees, in NSNA
    12. I hear something no-one else does - Dou-Dou’s responses to their conversations
    13. Smooth, graceful, sinuous? - synonyms for slinky according to thesaurus.com
    14. Picture clue a quarter of the UK national flag - Mathilde is quarter British by birth
    15. Forget the rest, I’m the real deal! - A Bond girl who actually is a girl of Bond’s
    16. Bond uses the same word to describe me as he does in a different film to describe Moneypenny - beautiful (Skyfall)
    17. I never say my name, but other people do
    18. (following on from clue one) ... but I stick to the rule when it really counts (edited for clarity) - when she’s escaping from Safin
    19. Jaws and I share a common hobby - biting people, she bites Safin to help her escape
    20. I share several intimate moments with a villain - Safin picks her up and holds her, she sits in his lap, he puts his arm around her shoulder etc.
    21. Picture clue character touching his nose - Safin touches her nose during the games room scene
    22. You may think you’ve found me in a Fleming novel, but that’s someone else - A child of Bond, see Kissy’s pregnancy in YOLT
    23. The villain makes me an offer I instantly accept - If you don’t want my protection then go … she does!
    24. Roger's Bond had a similar experience in his first film the descending floor in Fillet of Soul
    25. I watch Bond do something that Bond watches Q do in the same film - preparing food
    26. If done properly, my final task is going to take a considerable amount of time - listening to the story of James Bond, that’s going to be a very long car journey!
    27. I do something to the villain that I had done to me by a different character earlier in the film biting - mosquito in car
28.I leave a place with not quite the same clothes I arrived with … - Safin's island, she no longer has her sweater, but Bond gives her his sweater instead
    29. …and it would appear to be much warmer here than when I arrived … - Mathilde is missing her sweater, and Madeleine is missing her jacket
    30. ... but I'm also leaving this same place having lost something else of value - Dou-Dou (sad face)
    31. I share a common experience with the leading girl in Roger's last film - having Bond prepare food for them
    32. … but from our respective responses she clearly had the better experience - Stacey is delighted with her quiche de cabinet, Mathilde rather less enthused about her breakfast, ‘not bad’ is her critical opinion
    33. I’m seen in at least three different places where death has occurred - her home, the forest, Safin’s island
    34. Birdleson is unlikely to invite me round for an evening of conversation anytime soon - When Birdleson played Dou-Dou, he referred to Mathilde’s mosquito conversation as ‘gibberish’ - page 862
    35. We see three different characters all invading my personal space in the same specific way. A fourth character has this same thing done to them by me - Safin, Madeleine and Bond all pick Mathilde up and carry her, she does the same with Dou-Dou
    36. My gadgets are considerably more retro than those of my predecessor Mathilde plays with a slinky and a stuffed animal, while young Madeleine had a tamagotchi and portable TV in her bedroom
    37. I journey in three different types of transport - car, helicopter, boat
    38. I inexplicably choose a time-critical moment to change my clothes, unlike those around me who understand the urgency - when Bond realises the location of Madeleine’s house is compromised, they race to escape. In between Mathilde has changed her brown corduroy dungarees for blue denim ones, whereas Bond and Madeleine just slip jackets on.
    39. I might not be mighty in battle, but I do at least demonstrate a little self-defence - Mathilde means ‘mighty in battle’, she doesn’t do any fighting but does escape from Safin by biting him
    40. Bond introduces himself to me, but not in the usual Bond way - Hello, I'm James
    41. Picture clue - Mathilde plays with pebbles in a rock pool after escaping Safin’s island

Very well done, the floor is yours! 😊

Those were some clever clues @Max_The_Parrot, thanks for the great round. This is my first time winning so you'll all have to readjust your exceptions for my go, but here we are:

    Named EON character

    1. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue
    2. I was the first people who believed I'd actually done this (edited for clarity)
    3. I often turn up unannounced
    4. My colleagues don't know the first thing about me...
    5. ...but I have impeccable job security, given the circumstances
    6. Bond gives me the third degree for something I caught him doing in a previous entry in the series
    7. I have to go old school with the tools I use, at this person’s behest
    8. I repeat the same mistake that another character in the series does
    9. Close, but no cigar.
    10. (on clue 8) in both cases Bond has a nearly identical response
    11. Both the dresses I wear in this location are fitting, symbolically
    12. I deliver what Bond is owed, from on high
    13. I order a room of powerful people around, it's for their own good
    14. Bond initially doesn’t trust who I end up working for
    15. I’m hesitant to act but my boss is very insistent so I reluctantly comply

    Eve Moneypenny?

Yep, it's everyone's favourite Eve Moneypenny, Eve Moneypenny. It's my first time as the clue setter so I had a bit of 'first book syndrome' before I realised having a recurring character might be a bit confusing so most of the clues relate to Skyfall. Apologies if you were a bit stumped.

    1. Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue - Moneypenny is the first MI6 regular we ever see in the film series, but Harris is the first woman of colour to play her, in an office that is reminiscent of the original, wearing a duck-egg blue dress.
    2. I was the first people who believed I'd actually done this (edited for clarity) - Kill James Bond, if I'm not mistaken. I have to assume the hitmen in YOLT were in on the ruse.
    3. I often turn up unannounced - Speeds in out of seemingly nowhere in Istanbul, is an unexpected surprise in Macau and she crashes Q's date night in NTTD.
    4. My colleagues don't know the first thing about me... - The ending sort of implies Bond doesn't know Eve's surname throughout the events of Skyfall, and Mallory forgets her birthday in Spectre.
    5. ...but I have impeccable job security, given the circumstances - MI6 being one of the few employers that allows you to shoot a fellow colleague and get away with only a temporary reassignment
    6. Bond gives me the third degree for something I caught him doing in a previous entry in the series - Bond is scandalised at the thought of the man who spends the night in Moneypenny’s bed, yet Moneypenny the one who finds Miss Caruso after she’s spent it in his in LALD.
    7. I have to go old school with the tools I use, at this person’s behest - Bond hands her the straight razor to wield in Skyfall and later gifts her the dumb phone in Spectre
    8. I repeat the same mistake that another character in the series does - touching her earpiece à la Carter in Casino Royale
    9. Close, but no cigar - Eve gives Bond a literal close shave
    10. (on clue 8) in both cases Bond has a nearly identical response - "Don't touch/Stop touching your ear" Bond berets them both on their sloppy tradecraft.
    11. Both the dresses I wear in this location are fitting, symbolically - In Macau Eve first wears a red and then gold dress, the two colours of the Chinese flag
    12. I deliver what Bond is owed, from on high - On a London rooftop she hands Bond the late Olivia Mansfield's bequest
    13. I order a room of powerful people around, it's for their own good - During the shootout at the enquiry, she leads the evacuation of the MPs/committee members
    14. Bond initially doesn’t trust who I end up working for - Bond is wary that Mallory is a "bureaucrat"
    15. I’m hesitant to act but my boss is very insistent so I reluctantly comply - Eve doesn't have a good shot on Patrice but M utters the immortal words, "take the bloody shot" and so she does

Well done @Birdleson, over to you!
