What Aspects of Your Favorite Movies Defines Them?

So, what parts of your favorite movies (ideally franchises) defines them. Examples:

What makes a Mission:Impossible movie is:
-has to involve a team
-some sort of falling stunt, whether its tethered or with a parachute
-Lalo Schaffrin's theme

What makes a Bond franchise stand out:
-A plot centered around one villain (usually)
-the James Bond theme
-a Casino scene in many of the films
-unparalleled and out-there action sequences

So essentially post things that ONLY that franchise could get away with.
Like Bond is the only franchise that can get away with the one liners, gadgets, and epic stunts.

Doesn't have to be Bond, but please try and include it if you can :)
