For me:

Mission Impossible (I) - Train sequence

Super 8 - Train crash
Kill Bill Vol 1 - Crazy 88 fight
The Dark Knight - Rachel's murder
Star Trek (2009) - Arrival Vulcan to a destroyed fleet
Goldeneye - Tank in Moscow sequence
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly - Circle graveyard duel
Mission Impossible (IV) - Burj Khalifa scaling
Casino Royale - Opening stunts
Drive - Elevator scene
Inception - Beginning to end..

And more as I catch up on some flicks ;)

  • Keeping it short but two examples would be in Speed where Reeves has the bus and they have to jump across the road with some section missing. I realize it couldn't happen in real life but as it's merely an action movie we have to suspend our belief. It's the build up to it though that gets the excitement before the event happens

Secondly, saw it in theaters on original release would be the end of Die Hard II, easily the best ending of the four that I've seen

^^ Agreed @Brady, the Bourne movies provide many cool moments. My favorite is when he speaks to Pamela Landy on the phone, and says "Oh thats easy, she's right next to you". That musical que to her shock and surprise is just brilliant.

And @Baltimore Die Hard II is an excellent film. Not many can claim an epic battle on an airliner! Its pretty unique compared to all the other 'thrown together' action movies that would model the Die Hard franchise. Woah moment indeed.
