Being a guitar player, if I were down to my last forty thousand dollars, I'd definitely make a bid for this. Sadly, I haven't got forty grand burning a hole in my pocket at the moment.

However, whether I would ever play this instrument is uncertain. On one hand, I remember when I saw Mozart's piano at the Mozarthaus in Salzburg. I wouldn't deign to even touch the piano upon which such beautiful music was composed and performed -- I am far less than worthy. The same applies to this guitar. am I really worthy to play the James Bond theme on the guitar that made history?

On the other hand, an instrument like this deserves to be played and heard, rather than locked up in a glass box.

    An interesting dilemma.
